After reading the reviews beforehand,we knew we were going to somewhere special as said by other people the place was absolutely spotlessly clean,a credit to Sharon. We loved that there was no clutter just the things we needed for our three nights away. It is so peaceful we could only hear the wildlife as we sat in the hot tub at night. We saw squirrels playing in the trees 2 spotted woodpeckers, bats, 3 little robins playing together each day and a phesant right on the door step. We had a walk to the micro brewery in the village and had a fantastic friendly night with the locals. The hosts are such warm welcoming people. Thank you both so much for a happy stay with forever memories for us,an amazing place surrounded by nature

Gorgeous setting, friendly & accomodating owners. Peaceful surroundings, beautiful views & walks all around, including along Hadrians wall. Lovely hot tub to soak away those long walk aches at the end of the day. Well equipped self catering home, that has all you need for a relaxing break away. We will definitely visit again, thank you for letting us enjoy your property & all it's beautiful glory.

Fantastic location. Facilities basic but clean and well looked after. The Shepherds pie is to die for. Washed down with a couple of Boddingtons. Would recommend to anyone doing the hadrians wall walk.

We stayed in the Barn, which was amazing. Lovely and clean, central heating throughout. Fully equipped kitchen, nice open and spacious living room, comfortable beds, lovely sun room and a beautiful garden space and amazing hot tub. Part of Hadrian's wall runs right through the farm too.

You aren't overlooked at all and you have complete privacy.

The hosts are lovely and friendly and are at hand if needed.

The barn is on a working farm and watching the lambs running around was amazing. There was also a very tame pheasant who visited us daily.

The Barn is closely situated near the village of Walton and only 10 minutes drive from the town centre of Brampton, with a couple of little supermarkets, coffee shops, cafes and bars etc.

We have already booked to come back as we loved it so much.

Absolutely loved this stopover on Hadrian's Wall. The proprietor was very kind and the old converted barn-now-bunkhouse was wonderful after a long day walking. I'd return to this place just for a few days rest out of the city.

Stayed in the bunkhouse here in Sep 2021 and it was a fantastic spot. The owner kindly offered to cook us dinner (shepherds pie for £6) and breakfast (bacon butty for £3), whilst we sat in the front garden looking out on the scenery. Nicely priced at £20pppn.

An absolutely gorgeous spot to pitch the tent with a view of the Lakes, the Pennines and a distant Scotland. Facilities were very clean indeed, and the owners were lovely, helpful, and very friendly. They made us feel very much at home.

Idea spot for simple backpacking camping with decent showers and toilets with chairs to use on camp ground, which in front of the house with a beautiful vista. Chap owner really friendly and helpful soft level grass. Use of slats for camp stoves and bench too.
