We enjoyed our stay at the White House, which is very conveniently located both for the train station and the centre of Canterbury. We found the room very well appointed and comfortable.

Very good B&B close to the Marlowe Theatre and convenient for the numerous restaurants and bars in Canterbury. Nice and quiet location. Parking nearby, ask owner about cheap 24 hour parking concession. Highly recommended!

Be careful about what you are booking! I was confused by all of the great reviews after my experience - but realise that I stayed in the White House Apartment, not the White House B&B (‘website link’ take you to the website for the apartment).
My experience with Kevin who runs the apartment was disappointing. Communication from start to finish was poor. When the lights and heating did not work, no one answered the phone or called back to help.
It is a great location and if communication improved, this would be a good place to stay. Unfortunately our experience was dampened and after raising my disappointment with Kevin via email, I never received a response even after requesting for one.
