The Pheasants Retreat

Really enjoyed my stay here. Booked for a birthday weekend with a friend. Thankfully it comes with 2 single beds so great if not travelling as a romantic couple but the beds are quite big if you need to double up.
The layout was fun. Fully fenced away and just a short walk from a very large pond with a solitary picnic table. Great to sit by as the sun goes down. The retreat has fully working bathroom with bath robes, towels, etc. provided. Kitchen also has working lighting and hot and cold running water. Glamping at it's fullest. The woodfire hot tub was perfect after our long day of walking and visiting areas of Devon. The retreat is nicely situated near Exeter but also midway between north and south Devon allowing access to quite a few locations. The hosts are lovely. They put up a happy birthday banner and left me a homemade birthday cake. They even help you get your luggage from car to retreat on the back of a quad bike and trailer. Would recommend and go again.

Amazing stay, owners are super friendly and helpful. Taking from the parking too the stay via quad bike. As it was my girlfriends birthday they offered free of charge too bake a birthday cake and place a happy birthday banner. Unlimited wood and just a really pleasant stay. Thank you.
