Shillingridge Glamping

Stayed here with the family and can not rate it highly enough!!!!!!!. The lodge (like a giant luxury safari tent with rooms and full kitchen ) we stayed in was spotless, appears brand new. There were so many touches and home comforts. This is not rough camping - far from!!!! The kids loved the open space and talking with the horses in the next paddock. The man loved the out door cooking - and I loved the sofa!!! Catherine and Simon who greeted us could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Marlow on Thames is a gorgeous village and we found a great pub close by - the only hope is to stay longer next time!

Amazing place to relax and unwind. Catherine and Simon are perfect hosts, always available without being intrusive. They have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable from the fresh eggs layed by their hens to the comfy relaxing sofas .

So easy to relax in this lovely, charming, quintessentially English setting! Accommodation is absolutely luxurious, not really related to camping! All the fittings are first class, comfy beds, gorgeous bathroom (have a bath at night with the door open! wow!), spacious and very well kitted out kitchen, every detail thought about by the lovely Catherine and Simon. To look out over the meadows with a cuppa is sheer bliss. and if youre feeling adventurous, great eating nearby, gastro pubs, and then return to your idyll for a great night's sleep.. Thoroughly recommended!

We had a lovely few days at Shillingridge at the end of July, such luxury and Simon and Catherine were the most amazing hosts. We hope to return in the not too distant future!

Had a wonderful stay here. So amazing tempted to give a bad score just so we can keep it to ourselves! Catherine and Simon are wonderful hosts who have put lots of thought and detail into the amazing lodges. Also our kids loved it here and got to help collect chicken eggs.

Had a fab stay - loved the safari tent (with loo, shower and bathtub!) it was spacious and comfy. The owners were so welcoming and the location is beautiful and peaceful. Will def come back.

We had a fabulous few days at Shillingridge! Catherine and Simon were great hosts, with responsive and helpful communication before arriving and very accommodating and friendly during our stay. They let the children come and feed the horses and collect the chickens eggs in the morning, and provided guidance for bike rides / days out. The tent itself was beautiful, very spacious and luxurious- especially the bath! The spot itself is so quiet and peaceful. We were in Beech Lodge which in my opinion was best as it’s furthest away / closest to the fields and seemed a little more private. The outdoor area is brilliant and the cute teepees for children were a huge hit! It’s a slight shame given the vast space that the other tent is still relatively close, but it wasn’t an issue at all for us and still pretty private throughout. Shillingridge isn’t cheap but for a treat, it’s an absolute luxury! Gorgeous family experience. Highly recommend.

Came here for a weekend with my brother and baby. Lots of games to play and out door cooking facilities. As well as a fully function kitchen and wood burner.
My only thought was a tv may be nice if you came here and it rained already and you just wanted to chill!!
