Liked: Field to camp on was OK. welcome OK

Disliked: Parking. absaloutley over booked. People blocked in, I had to be off early and had to catch people as they came in not to block me in. why don't you let people park next to their pitch! especially when grounds fine!

Noisey site, lots of families... which is pretty good for keeping kids happy... but not when music stops at 2.30am... talking stopped at 4am. Felt more like a festival then a campsite.

Toilets were as expected for a pop up site, however there was far too many people on site and facilities were strained.

felt if you went on a quiet weekday or quieter weekend the site would of been OK. Parking instantly put me off and was just chaos.

Could do with putting a limit on bookings. not worth the 30 quid paid for the night. Will not be going back.

Liked: Really friendly campsite with a very welcoming host. Everything we needed for our first taste of camping. Nice touch with the ponies comings out for the kids to see, and a small bouncy castle for the children also for an hour in the evening.

You can hire fire pits for the evening which is a nice idea also for keeping you warm and toasting your marshmallows.

The shower block is what is needed, few plug sockets, fridge, shower and boys and girls toilets.

Large field for plenty of tents and plenty of running around for the kids.

2 miles from Southport waterfront too.

Liked: Very friendly owners always coming to check on you throughout the day. Kids enjoyed the bouncy castle and paddling pools. Lots of open space to play ball games with the children, toilets cleaned regularly and stocked with toilet roll and hand wash. Horses next to us for the children to see, we will be returning again soon, good old fashion camping!

Disliked: We’re not able to hire a fire pit due to none left but understandable as bank holiday weekend and was very busy maybe get one next time instead, no bins so had to take all rubbish home would be better if there were were public bins

Liked: Basic camping, Large field for the kids to play on and the dogs.
Owners was very friendly and helpful always coming round checking everyone is ok
Clean Toilets and a shower on site
Toilets were cleaned several times throughout the day and toilet roll always topped up
Fires allowed and we had music playing
We brought our own monkey swing and the owner let us attach it to a tree which occupied our kids (and other kids) for hours.
Small swimming pool for the kids and bouncy castle was put up a couple of times
I’d recommend taking your entertainment for the kids. Balls , skipping ropes etc.
we as 2 family’s and 6 kids between us had a fab weekend.

Disliked: Nothing

I seriously cannot understand where previous reviews come fr
Not as advertised!
Extremely overpriced in comparison to other basic camp sites.
Visited this site and stayed for two nights. The photos on the website are not totally true to life.
The toilet block is one rusty, corroded shipping container sectioned into three toilets and one shower.
There isn't a petting zoo, just two horses one of which bites adults and children who are too close to the fence.
There isn't a play area or a hay bale area.
The bouncy castle is actually an inflatable toddlers splash pool that does not accommodate children over the age of three.
The so called hot tub was filthy and I do mean filthy, same as the children's paddling pool. Neither was cleaned or had a water change whilst we were there and in total we spent four days there.
You are expected to take your rubbish away with you, I suspect this is because the owner does not wish to pay for industrial waste bins and collection.
The ground is so hard as though the grass has an underlay of rubble and rubbish making it hard to peg down your tent.

We are not shy of camping, nor are we new to it. This is an honest review with full facts of what we experienced.

Liked: Lovely, clean site! The farmer & staff are really helpful & friendly!!

Disliked: More of technical problem - the lights in toilet are on a motion sensor (👍)which switched off mid shower. (but I survived)

Liked: The kids loved the bouncy castle in the morning and afternoon.

Disliked: The toilet/shower block could do with updating and we weren't happy that we had to pay £10pn to have a bbq and they had no wood to sell as advertised.
