We have had an amazing week here at Windham Barn. There is so much to do in the area and adults and children have both had a brilliant time. The barn is very spacious and very well equipped. The only down sides for us as a large family were having to vacate by 9am on the departure day, there was also a severe lacking of mirrors - only one full length mirror out of all the 6 bedrooms! When you have 4 ladies trying to do their hair and makeup and check their outfits this proved a bit difficult for us as the mirrors provided are all rather small. We also struggled trying to dry our clothes, it is amazing that a washing machine and tumble dryer is provided however on lovely sunny days there was no washing line or air dryer to put outside. We have also struggled with locking the sliding doors into the garden. The lock is very stiff which has proved problematic when trying to leave for the day etc. The outside French window door to the garden from the master bedroom is also very stiff to lock as are a lot of the windows when trying to child proof them. The sofas in the main lounge with the kitchen are a bit tired too but all in all we have loved our stay here and would definitely return.
