Amazing place perfect getaway for all you mountain bikers and dog walkers and the bbq hut is just out of this world a real great weekend away

It's hard to imagine a more perfect place for a dog friendly holiday than this.
Bay Tree Barn is wonderful - a classy, cosy retreat in a wonderful location, run by lovely people who just 'get it'.
Nikki's food is brilliant if you can't be bothered to cook, or just fancy a night off, and the BBQ hut is a fantastic addition since the last time we visited.
We haven't checked out anything Mudtrek related, but if zooming around the countryside on a bike is your kind of thing then you'll probably be in heaven.
It's six years since we last stayed here, and we won't be leaving it that long to come back again.

Lovely stay at the bike shed with our pooches. Fab walks and beaches to enjoy A little disappointed with the overall cleanliness of the cottage and after a long day out and about it would have been nice to have a comfy sofa to relax on. The one in the cottage was so uncomfortable and the bed was even worse, just a mattress on pallets, not good for our backs at all.

Lovely remote and peaceful location, enclosed garden and separate play area for the dogs, as well as dog friendly cottage with all amenities. Helpful hosts who accommodated additional need by way of oxygen delivery for me too.

Once again we had lovely time at the cottage. This time with fire place! Very quiet and relaxing. Lovely walks at the forest where I could let my crazy setters let of the leash. On rainy days we used dogs play park which was nice and secure and lots of sniffing for dogs. Definitely would recommend and we will be coming back again and again. Lovely home away from home.

Had a lovely week recharging the batteries. Great walks from the doorstep, good beaches a short drive away. Lots of dog friendly places to visit. Clean comfortable accommodation with amazing views and so peaceful.

What a fabulous long weekend break!! Perfect hosting from Jay and Nikki, with an abundance of home prepared meals and awesome BBQ - cant move now..... even after riding all day and some of the steepest climbs I've done. Riding routes discussed for our mixed ability group with options for all, with everyone in agreement for a few pints mid-ride. What a memorable stay and for all the right reasons. We'll be back and Jay, please make sure we have wall to wall sunshine for our next trip!!
