Glanmedeni

We only had a short 2 night stay here but it was perfect. So quiet and tranquil in beautiful countryside and a true get away from it all break. The forge was fitted out to a very high standard and the kitchen well stocked with everything you needed. We ordered a lasagne from Jess on the first evening which was very tasty. We hope to be back in 2022 for a longer break.

Our stay was a surprise gift from my partner for my birthday and it was such a treat! Everything has been so well planned, beautifully finished for the most relaxing and peaceful break. Our dogs loved all their treats too! My especial favourite was the bath, I’ve never had a dip in a wooden tub before and I can really recommend it, a lovely bubbly cuddle!

A return visit to this wonderful property did not disappoint. Everything had been thought of by our host Jess as it was previously. We found the Forge spotlessly clean with a generous welcome pack of wonderful Welsh goodies and warm freshly baked bread. Quiet evenings listening to the nature are the perfect tonic to the work left behind.
I'm sure we will return soon.

A perfectly quiet retreat amongst the trees. A very relaxing and recharging place to stay. Jess the host is lovely and the fish pie is amazing (all the food is great). Highly recommended. We shall return.

Fantastic 4 night stay at Glanmedini. The setting is beautiful with gorgeous beaches on your doorstep. The accommodation was spotless and attention to detail in the guidebook makes everything easy. Jess went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed..... the welcome hamper was a lovely touch and the home made food delicious. We’ve raved about it to friends and plan to return!

The Forge is an absolutely beautiful little cottage tucked in an equally beautiful setting. The place has been very recently renovated and the attention to detail is exquisite. Everything we could have wanted was thought of and Jess was fantastic, providing a lovely welcome hamper and being available if we needed anything. I would highly recommend the fish pie if you order any of the homemade meals!

The Forge is the perfect place to unwind. The building has been renovated to the highest standard with quality fixtures, fittings evident everywhere.
Our host Jess was very generous with her welcome baskets of goodies.
It was so quiet and a perfectly dark sky to enjoy the stars.
A great location to explore the nearby coastal path with other walks just outside the door.
We will definitely return.

Absolutely loved our stay in The Forge at Glanmedeni, it was the perfect weekend retreat. The accommodation has been finished beautifully by Jess and was a pleasure to be in (especially w bed that’s genuinely comfortable!). The views at Glanmedeni are stunning and we particularly enjoyed walks on the nearby Tresaith beach and in the ancient Tŷ Canol woods, which were magnificent and only a short drive away (also a must see for any lotr fans!). Highly recommend and very much looking forward to staying here again soon!
