Liked: Beautiful views. Spacious pitches. Reliable electrics. Dog friendly. Fire pits allowed. Very good water pressure and temperature in the showers. Would come again.

Disliked: The toilet facilities are very good (in fact probably the best showers in terms of pressure and temperature I’ve ever had on a campsite) however the block would benefit from a few finishing details such as closing up the gaps in the ceiling, fixing the small sinks and taps properly on the toilet cisterns. I would also suggest a separate sink for brushing teeth. It’s not easy especially with children to brush teeth bent over the toilet.

Liked: Had what was needed. Site is quite so children was able to play and we could relax knowing they were safe and sound. Views of sunset in evening were lush especially sat by firepit keeping warm. There was a water tap every other pitch so we liked the easy access to that. There was a blue and grey waste disposal area with hose to wash out. Toilets and showers were at both ends of pitch as well as washing up areas and they provide a fridge/freezer to use.
The site hires out firepits and wood for the stay which is great. Eggs were sold on site too. Children loved seeing farm animals especially the pigs and horse.
There is a recycling scheme on site too with different bins for plastic, glass etc but there isn't a general waste one so you either take it home or pay £2 for site to do it. Other than getting wet on arrival we would be back to stay next year. Thanks for stay.

Disliked: Road going to site is a farm track which is rough. Not good on car suspension especially when fully loaded

Loved this place. So relaxing. Brilliant hosts, so friendly and helpful. Brilliant night sky. Everything you need available. Quiet at night, family site. The farm animals are a big hit with the children. Can't wait to return

Jessica was brilliant with organising our large booking of 10. She helped us find a quiet spot so that we wouldn’t disturb any other campers and even mowed an area for us for us to pitch up. Lovely campsite out of the way with good clean facilities. Ideally located next to the Wild Lakes wakeboarding park. 10/10 would recommend.

Liked: Generous sized pitches, although not all flat. The hard standing service pitches seem flatter and have a better view.
Tranquil location only 5 minutes for Oakwood park. Lots of farm animals, which children enjoyed visiting daily.
Undercover table tennis.
Fridge freezer and undercover dish wash area.

Disliked: Access road into the site very uneven/pot holes.
Toilet/shower block needs finishing. The shower temperature/ water pressure are intermittent. Water pressure to fill water containers is also very poor - takes forever to fill water butts.
Lack of lighting - hard to navigate to the toilet block at night.
Recycling available but no bins for general waste, have to dispose of own rubbish or pay £2 per bag. Felt that for £40 per night this should be included.

Liked: Stunning views, lovely and peaceful. Large pitch. Kids loved the animals. Recycling.

Disliked: Showers in block nr touring pitches could do with a bit more room/place to out stuff

Liked: The farm animals, the children enjoyed visiting these, also the table tennis table was great.

Disliked: The lack of on site lightening, making a nighttime walk to the toilets hair-raising and somewhat dangerous.
The showers were not always hot. The temperature seemed intermittent and inconsistent. The shower blocks also didn’t seem finished off to a standard you would expect for £40 a night.

The pitches were also uneven.

Lovely campsite! Jess and Neil are really welcoming and can't do enough for you. It's clean and well kept plus it's on a working farm so you get to see lots of animals and feed the pigs. The views are beautiful and the pitches are big so there's plenty of room for ball games etc. I highly recommend it 😁
