Beautiful views however lodges need a DEEP clean inside and out, in desperate need of a jet wash. Whole lodge full of dust and cobwebs, hob was thick with grease. Hairs in bed which looked like dog hairs. Wifi did not work, hot tub water was yellow. Fire did not work, hand sanitiser out of date. Major bug issue which is expected but if place was cleaned there wouldn’t be as many. Very dated decor. When I mentioned this to the female owner she was in complete denial and had a terrible attitude. We did not enjoy our stay here I wouldn’t recommend!

Very poor highgean place needs deep clean tried to contact owners to no avail and to top it off no pots or pans in lodge to cook on nearest shop 11miles drive from site stayed 2 nights out of 5 payed for wife full of bites upon return home give it a BIG no thank you people.

This is from family who very much did love the cabin however improvements include: The decking needs fixing/replacing, the outside (although doesn't bother us or the holiday) needs resanding and painting. The beds are slightly uncomfy with one of the bed sheets having a small red stain. The kitchen needs a few things, there isn't any proper equipment as it could do it actual chopping boards as this is being written by a chef, glass chopping boards or not good an awkward to use, also the knives aren't good as there not proper knives, the kitchen had no sponge, skour or anything to hand wash dishes or side ect, and the oven glove is a one handed one an is thin although doesn't look it, and a hand tea towel would be good, even a cheap option in the draws for all of these would be good like plastic boards in the draw as there cheap. The oven an microwave were amazing an the hob was good. However all in all people are great theres a cute cat and the hot tub was good the sofa comfy and table was convent.

Beautiful scenery Very remote Ideal if you want to be of the grid, WiFi adequate 30 minutes from Welsh pool

Stayed here with partner and my 6 month old this week. Have to say we had a great time despite the Welsh weather. Its in the middle of no were, with the most amazing views. There was plenty of room for the 3 of us and the hot tub was lovely. Bed linen/towels provided well cleaned.
Down falls have to be added just as constructive criticism (we have stayed in alot of lodges prior to this) It wasnt 100% on the cleaning side does need attention to detail with getting the dusty cobwebs down and behind the tv was full with dust. The sofa was uncomfortable and old. The sink tap leaked witch was a pain. Also something that we expect to have in our cabin was tea towels, hand soap, more than one roll of toilet roll. Not having these thing was a pain as we had to go to the shop for them witch was half hour drive away.
Other than these points we had a great time and visited Lake Vyrnwy that wasnt far away and was amazing

On arrival it looked a beautiful cabin, but on stepping inside a different story. There was thick dust and cob webs everywhere, the hub over the cooker was thick with dust and grease!! The shower over the bath was virtually non existence the handle on the toilet was very loose. There was no hot water from the hot tap in the on suite bathroom, the cold water tap was loose and turned all the way round. The owner called to see if we were settling in and told him about the on suite taps, he fixed the cold but was unable to fix the hot. Later in the evening we decides to have a dip in the hot tub but found it to be a cold tub. The owner came the following day and topped it up with hot water which did work, but the water was so dirty you couldn't see the bottom of the tub. I don't normally put so much on review but felt I needed to considering the money we paid for 2 nights. On a plus side the views are amazing
