Dunston Hill Caravan Park

Been on this site for a few years now. The amenities are well placed. There are two parks here for children. Close to some amazingly beautiful places.A garage and public house within 1 mile. Worth a visit in one of their rental caravans for sure. The family who run the site are very friendly and happy to help.

Liked: We stayed at this site for 2 weeks at the start of August, we asked for a more secluded pitch and were given a Beautiful spot at the bottom end of the site. We had a small stream next to our pitch as well as Beautiful areas of wild growth/plants that had an abundance of wildlife and insects living within it. The facilities were basic but clean and all worked perfectly. My 2 children aged 5 and 8 really enjoyed the play area. The site also had a washing machine and dryer which was extremely useful as well as a fridge freezer. The owners of the site were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this campsite as it's brilliant value for money and had everything we needed. We had an amazing holiday here and would definitely come back here again in the future.

Liked: Spotlessly clean toilets and shower. Fantastic countryside views, great location for exploring Pembrokeshire whilst being far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet.
Zero light pollution for star gazing was perfect (got to see some lovely shooting stars)
Hire a fire pit and logs for a real cosy fire and marshmallow roasting.
Very friendly family oriented site with a play area. Great site for kids.
We will definitely be back!

Disliked: Some steep slopes at the perimeter of the camping ground and very steep slope to the river meant some areas are inaccessible to anyone with mobility issues.
More showers and toilets would be a bonus but nothing spoilt our stay.

Liked: This was a nice quiet campsite, close to the lovely beaches.

Disliked: The website stated there were new toilet facilities available, however these had not been kept clean. There were dead bugs in the shower in the mornings and bugs in the light fittings. The older shower block (also in use) had bird faeces on the floor and in the sink. Used razors were also left in the bathroom.

During our stay we had a thunder storm during the night. There was a firework sounding noise and smoke coming from the tarmac outside the toilets. This appeared to be a live power cable (for the pitches with power sources) which was tripping out. The owner had not noticed this. This was extremely dangerous.

The campsite on a whole was not well maintained (this may be due to being slightly out of season) however it felt very deserted and abandoned as if they weren’t planning on having any customers.

Childrens play area also not well maintained.

Liked: The tent area and location were all great. It was quiet and peaceful. The toilets were ok the shower was nice and powerful. All in all a great budget campsite.

Disliked: The weather! But it is Wales after all.

Liked: Excellent site, was so relaxed. Plenty of picnic benches which were moveable and firepits readily available scattered around. Highly recommend. Already planning to return. So close to so many incredible sites. Excellent.

Liked: Everything about the holiday was great, the site is great even with young children our youngest is 3, they can roam around the site and you don't have any concerns, the tenting pitches are right into the park so is very quiet and away from the road, only 15-20 min drive onto town centre, pub nearby which does excellent food would highly recommend The Pelcomb Inn, 2 lots of toilet blocks with hot showers and dish washing facilities, would absolutely recommend this site
