Wentwood Timber

Fab for gifts in their small craft shop. An excellent range and very reasonable prices. If you are looking for timber there is a very good showroom of wainy edge boards and finished timbers.

Some really great trees. Remember to take cash, they don't accept card!!!

Good selection of timber for the general public and trade. Gav helped me pick out sycamore for my kitchen worktop and cut it in half so it would fit in my car.

Got our wood from here for years, its cheap and staff are friendly, good if you want to make shelves, coffee tables, mantel pieces etc. You can get firewood from there too. They even have a coffee shop on site. 😃

Always a good selection of British hardwoods available. Some may take a little longer to turn onto usable stock (planing etc) but this is reflected in the low prices. The odd diamond in the rough to be found too. I visit most months and rarely go away empty handed.
