Weird opening hours. Sometimes not open when you would expect it to be. They don’t take card or contactless payment for under £5 and the nearest cash machine is at co-op so you may as well go there. They do however have a wide range of pornographic magazines to suit all tastes.

Friendly, helpful, familial shop/ sub post office with good selection of both dry goods and drinks. Post office always very helpful. Some queuing since Covid as limited numbers can enter but worth it and far better to park here (very convenient) and see a smile than use high street.

Friendly and helpful owner who was happy to deliver my elderly father's newspaper to his care home on a regular basis.

I’ve live locally for over 10 years and have visited this shop a handful of times.

The young couple that run the shop I cannot fault them at all, they greet you like an old friend always, friendly, informative service with a smile.

However, the more mature lady (grandma) who you may encounter early mornings, really does let the shop down, she is reason why I do not visit more regularly.

Every occasion I have visited she has been rude, always tries to short change me and for some reason always throws the money back into hand.

Be sure to do your maths and stay on the ball as she is way more together than she makes out to be!

Would love to have given more than one star but grandma let’s the team down!

Went to return a parcel and was told 'unfortunately not I don't have any bags'... Get some then! You're a drop off point. Wasted journey.
