If I could put 0 stars that would be better. Looks like others have also had the misfortune of having to use this rubbish establishment to return their parcels. The man is very rude, huffing and puffing if you can't operate the machine and ask for help and giving back patronising and condescending comments. Had a look at a review below where the owner is mentioning a customer is being racist because of a bad review he had left??? Ironic in the shop he was being very helpful and extremely chatty to a white lady, while to me a man of colour he was being rude and condescending? The worst customer service - do yourself a favour take the criticism various people have posted on a review to help improve your customer service. If its being mentioned several times don't be delusional!

A family run local newagents that are friendly and a pleasure to visit every time I've been there. I've used them for a large part of my life and honestly feel that we're lucky to have them, at a time when chains are taking over the World. It's a BIG 👍 from moi!

Not entirely sure where half of these other reviews have come from. Been using Jans for about 5 years now, dad has been using for over 30 years. Never once had a problem, great owners and very nice. Good selection of almost everything, and always up for a laugh. Keep it up👌🏽

Definitely not recommended.
My parcel was kept in the store for 17 days, although I was advised that it would be returned the next day of the collection deadline.
I could not collect the parcel on time as my flight was rescheduled. I called the store a few days before the last collection day, and asked if they would be so kind as to hold my order for a few more days. I was STRONGLY advised that they cannot keep the parcel and it would be returned to Evri. I have been convinced it was returned and was waiting for my refund. As nothing happened, finally I called the seller and was advised that my parcel is still in the parcel shop! When I came there, the lady blamed the driver and me!!! Whatever I said, she distorted the facts. Please, think it over before you choose this parcel shop.
And one piece of advice to the owners - if you are unhappy with the Evri rules, please do not offer the service and waste your customers' time and energy.

I've been in here several times to return Amazon parcels, as it's listed as my nearest Evri ParcelShop station. I have to brace myself, though, every time I visit Jans for this purpose because the managers clearly feel very testy toward their Evri costomers. I have left this place literally sweating on several occasions after having had incomprehensible orders barked at me while I fumble to use the finicky label-printing machine. It makes me think of that soup episode of Seinfeld, except in this case, it's "NO LABEL FOR YOU!!!" The convenience of the location means that I'm likely to continue to return my parcels here...but I feel afraid...very afraid...

NOT HELPFUL AT ALL!! VERY RUDE! I went in to return an Amazon item and both these old Indian shop owners where rude. I said Hello there was no answer I said it another 3 times. Only when I became rude then I got a response! When it came to returning the item the old lady was just looking at me not doing anything or explaining anything! NOT helpful at ALL.

Agree with every single negative review on here and can see the replies from the owners are just as horrible!

Hostile, condescending, angry owner who even picked up a newspaper and started reading it whilst I was still speaking to him at the till

Then it just got so much worse from here.

I have Contacted EVRI- who says my parcel is still in their store!

Just avoid if you can. Picking up a parcel from here has never been easy.

Merchant sold me fake cigars and refused to refund me claiming that he doesn’t refund.
