NEWS on the WHARF (2)

Really disappointed and even angry. I dropped off a prepaid Hermes parcel there two weeks ago. As its online state hasn't been changed since then and I'm unable to track anything useful with the drop-off receipt that the staff gave at the counter, I decided to make an inquiry on the site. Surprisingly, they refused to help with any kind of check at all and claimed they got nothing to do with it. They refused to provide the contact for the deliveryman who collects the items at the shop, for which they could've. They irresponsibly googled a random Hermes customer service and asked me to call that number instead of bothering them further. It makes me hard to believe their system is not capable to make any query as such given that your shops can accept parcel drop-off service. It also makes me hard to believe how professionally they handle the customer requests.

Dropped off 3 Hermes parcel here exactly 7 days ago, and they still haven’t reached the retailer. My parcel needs to reach the retailer in 3 days. This is unbelievable, I would strongly advise not to do your returns here.

Today I was served by Abdul who was very blunt and with zero customer service skills. The words "hello", "thank you" or "goodbye" are obviously not part of his vocabulary.

Very pricey this news stand takes full advantage of the fact the waitrose and most of its competitors are on the other side of the wharf i live close buy so im always around only once have i been severed by a happy staff member a young lady the rest of them terrible completely different to the other stands in the wharf this is the worst 1 but convenient so no choice the only one .

News on the wharf are rubbish. Awful service - the staff is wearing a poker face such that you owe them a million dollar. Toxic environment.

Went there today to drop off a parcel and pick up a parcel. I was served by a Chinese lady first who was very rude. I asked her what the postcode was of this place as I didn’t know if I was at the right news on the wharf and she goes I don’t know, maybe go check or ask someone? They have plenty parcels with the postcode of the store on there anyways after I dropped off the parcel I asked to pick up a parcel and she tells me to wait on the side because she has a long que of maybe 1/2 people. I felt as if she just didn’t want to serve me. I was before those people so they could wait instead she pushed me to the side to serve the other customers. Very unprofessional and she clearly doesn’t like being in the workplace, no manners or even a simple smile. She needs her training on customer service redone. Overall the other staff are very nice and friendly

Some employees need to improve their customer service skills.

Every five days l go to the shop l buy two newspaper and something else first when l'm on my way to work.
