Dawn Taylor Wedding Hair and Make Up Artist

Dawn was my hairstylist for myself and my bridal party at my wedding last month. The styles she created were stunning and exactly what we asked for! I enjoyed the trial I had with Dawn before the wedding as she managed to create a look I loved with her expertise and gave great suggestions. I even bought my hair accessory from her, she makes them herself!
My hair never looked better than it did on my wedding day and it’s all thanks to Dawn. I would recommend her services to anyone!

Dawn and her assistant Michelle did the hair and make up for myself (bride), my mum and my bridesmaid (adult sister) for my wedding on 10th April 2022.

I cannot sing Dawn’s praises highly enough!! I first approached her as she was one of the recommended suppliers for our venue, and her work on the website was just exactly what I wanted - all very natural, and the brides all looked like the most beautiful versions of themselves which is what I wanted. Dawn has stuck by me through all of COVID and postponing our wedding four times, and has never been anything but kind and encouraging. I had two trials with her as we booked her so far in advance of the wedding, and both times she took great care, made me feel beautiful (which is not an easy feat!!), advised me carefully what would work with my hair type and skin/eye colour and made me feel so at ease.

Then on the day of the wedding, not only did she turn up in the middle of me having a stress because groom was Covid positive, and calmed me down, but she also fell over on the way to the bridal prep area and just carried on with a smile on her face. She talked to me, my mum and my sister all morning and kept me calm, and did an absolutely amazing job on my hair and make up, my partner said I looked amazing and was absolutely blown away. Dawn also pitched in with lacing up my dress, and played a massive role in my feeling like I was beautiful, just for a while. I don’t have a lot of self confidence but Dawn, and Michelle, did nothing but treat me with utter respect and kindness and that helped me a lot.

Could not recommend Dawn more if I tried! Just amazing!

Dawn was great from the start! Great communication, listened to what I wanted and helped me to decide on the perfect style for my wedding day. My hair and make up lasted all day and the bridesmaids were so pleased with their look too. Thank you!

Dawn did my hair for my Wedding day a few weeks ago - she had a big event the same day but still managed to fit me in beforehand which I was SO grateful for because her work is just incredible! She listened to exactly what I was after during my trial and was so welcoming, she also gave me some fantastic tips for when picking a piece for my hair based on the style I chose. I honestly could not recommend her enough - such a talented and wonderful person all round and made the whole experience so relaxing and enjoyable :)

Dawn was so friendly from the start- she was very easy to contact and arrange trials and answered all my questions I had prior to the trial promptly. She was so professional and put me right at ease. On the wedding day, Dawn and her assistant were very friendly and contributed to the whole morning being very stress-free. It was lovely having them there and all felt very easy- exactly as you want it to on the day! I absolutely loved my hair and make-up and felt Dawn really listened to what I wanted. Everyone at the wedding commented on all the hair and make-up of the bridesmaids too! I can’t thank you enough!

Having worked with Dawn on a professional basis I knew that she would be the perfect person to do my hair and makeup for my wedding day last year - and I definitely wasn't disappointed. Dawn was punctual, friendly, so helpful and calming and the end results were just what I wanted. Dawn also did the hair and makeup of my daughter plus the hair of my two little granddaughters who all looked so beautiful on the day.

I simply can't recommend Dawn highly enough from the hair and make up trials through to the actual day the communication was brilliant.

p.s. Dawn also made me a beautiful hair vine to compliment my hair style - something that she does in her 'spare'(!) time - what a beautiful keepsake.

I honestly don’t know where to start. Dawn did my hair and makeup as well as both my sisters for my wedding day. She’s been amazing from start to finish! Dawn was absolutely amazing as my hair and make up artist for my wedding in December 2021. Artist is exactly as I’d describe her too!

I had a trial for my hair up-do which was so chilled and lovely to finally get to feel ‘bridey’ after everything Covid! I had no idea what I wanted, so she did what she believed suited me and she got it PERFECTLY!!!

On my wedding day, Dawn did my mum’s, my maid of honour’s and my daughters hair up-do’s; along with my hair and makeup too.

Her timekeeping was ace and she was so chilled, but kept me on track with my timings too, without causing me any stress. A rare attribute I imagine! Dawn stayed with me right until I went to have my chat with the registrars.

So chuffed with her service. Will 1000% recommend Dawn xx
