I’m actually very disappointed with the food. The sayur lodeh was the worst I have ever eaten in my life honestly. Just look at the color in the picture and the portion was so tiny. There were cherry tomatoes and broccoli in this sayur lodeh too. The fried kway teow was so spicy and didn’t taste authentic at all. I would not come back here. I’m sorry.

Came here last year when there was promotion on buffet from this restaurant. Although I have not been here for Ala carte but I really think this restaurant has the most authentic Malaysian dishes that I can think of. Spicy! Always the best way to describe and delicious and variety of dishes! For a reasonable buffet price, this is truly good deal. Restaurant is located underground and the air can be quite stuffy and needs good ventilation. But overall I am satisfied with this and would come back again in the future.

One of the Best Indonesian/ Malaysian Cuisine for me. I am a Nasi Padang lover. Sampled their Rendang Beef, Sambal Goreng Mutton, Nasi Kandar and Chendol . All 10/10. Their Tong Yum is 8.5/10. Must not miss when you are near Paddington.

Really good food, authentic taste, not fusion to cater to other food cultures. Highly recommended if you want original Malay food ! 😋

Malaysian here, can certify authenticity of the food, even prepared by Malaysians. A good selection of some of Malaysia's best cuisine, with the Nasi Kandar being the highlight of the menu with absolutely mouth watering curries paired with the best side dishes ever. They are understaffed so do be patient especially during peak hours!

This is such a great restaurant, the food is just excellent. I hadn’t been here for about a year but was finally in the area again last night so went back and it is still just as good. The Nasi Kandar is the best and I always have to get it, especially with the chicken. Also try the Melur Special drink, it’s super tasty and refreshing ngl. My only complaint is they took down the big Malaysian flag at the back of the restaurant since the last time I was there, you can never have too many flags 🇲🇾🇲🇾🇲🇾

Second time to Melur and well, it was good decision again, especially having Kari Laksa in winter. Not to mention how they put shrimps, slices of chicken breast, rich flavor of tofus absorbing the noodle’s soup. So good! I also ordered Mee Mamak which I would expect to be spicier, but it was nice and rich of flavors. Lastly, the chicken was for me the reason to have Nasi Kandar. It was crispy skin with juicy meat. Tasty to the bone indeed! Teh Tarik perfectly accompanied all the dishes I had then. Thank you, Melur!
