Superb meal, a little corner of Malaysia in N1. Great service too. The Special Laksa is "hot", how I like it, but do dial it down a bit if you prefer less kick. Flavours were excellent.

Lovely laksa - I'd get the medium spice level unless you like things really hot, as even the medium was still pretty spicy. Service from the front of house man was great and all the food came out quickly. Worth booking for dinner as we went on a Friday night and there wasn't any space for walk ins.

We just had water as there's only a craft beer or two expensive wines on the drinks menu, but even so it still came to £38 for two vegan laksas and a shared starter (including service).

Seriously impressed by this lovely place. Best Laksa I have had (and I’ve travelled round Malaysia) very friendly owners, the Malaysian fried chicken was ***** and the potato puff specials were great too. Such a shame I am on a budget else I would have ordered one of everything! I hand picked this place out and travelled from Nottingham to come, it didn’t disappoint :) thanks to the lovely owners too xxxx

We ordered a starter (fried chicken) and tofu curry laksa as an end of week celebration. The fried chicken was so tender (unlike a lot of places) Really impressive and the sauce was the perfect accompaniment. The laksa broth was rich and spicy- I usually prefer assam laksa but this was delicious! My only complaint would be that £10 for a starter is a bit steep when compared to other fried chicken offerings around London.

The Laksa is lukewarm for both my friend and I. We were pretty disappointed. The taste is not bad, not that authentic to be honest. I wouldn’t be going back again unless I’m there to try something else. Chicken is halal.

Don’t be Sambal Shocked when you’re served the BEST LAKSA in London.

Much like many Londoners SS has been on my radar for a long time. Finally got to sample their delights today.
Stunning complex and hearty Laksa with perfect runny centred eggs, crispy magical Fried chicken & potato curry puffs served with Peanut Sauce & Sambal. All finished off with sumptuous Coconut pudding (not to be missed).
Exemplary service from a warm, funny and engaging front of House team, had us smiling from start to finish. The restaurant also has really interesting German wines & cocktails.
You can book online to ensure a seat inside or out. After some big reviews, and some new awards, this local favourite is gaining BIG TRACTION. Get down, fill your belly and leave happy!

This is as good as Grace Dent and Jay Rayner said it is. Loved the starters and the laksa was banging with flavour. If you struggle with spice go for the medium. If you’re okay with spice don’t worry about the warning on the menu. It’s not super hot. We will be back soon.

Authentic special Laksa. The noodle soup was perfect for this winter and it warmed me up immediately. We ordered the chicken Laksa and the special Laksa which has prawns, chicken and tofu. As you can see form the presentation it was glistening. The portion is perfect and the aroma was amazing. This has got to be the best place for Laksa so far. Even better than central London.

The store was smaller than I imagined and the space was quite tight as you could see staff having to take turns to fit through. The staff were in Pink shirts and they were wearing masks.

The downside was the currypuffs as it came out cold and quite small compared to ones I have tried at other places. The chicken starter was also a miss as it felt too flakey and was not to my liking.
