Dyebrick

Buyer Beware! This business appears to operate through extortion. I used Dyebrick on my 1950's brick wall and the results looked beautiful. However, a week later, when I went to order more to complete my project, my order was cancelled. I was told the color of product I had ordered was in the process of being moved to their commercial division and I would need to purchase it through there. I was then sent a follow-up email from Dave Holland stating that they would cancel my order again until I purchased their commercial starter kit that has 3 primary colors and a book about how to mix and use them at a cost of $650. I wrote back asking for an exception under the circumstances and none was given.

Unfortunately, my recommendation is to find another solution. If you do use the product, make sure you order more than enough on your first purchase. My brick required more product than their estimates for porous brick, leaving me with a partially completed project. So while the product is excellent, my experience with the business end has been completely unsatisfactory.

This is such a wonderful versatile product. I am frequently dealing with buildings with poorly matching brick extensions, facades that don't fit in with the surrounding buildings or damaged brickwork. Often clients are proposing rendering the entire building at huge expense. This is such a perfect solution, and you get really nice clear information and lots of help. There are some great guides and videos on the website. It is easy to apply lasts indefinitely you really would never know the bricks have been coloured at all.

Dyebrick operates their business on our site so we often get the chance to speak with very satisfied customers and see the results of this quality time tested product. I tried in on a house in the next village and I am amazed at the results. The product developer for this business has spent 30 years perfecting it and as a result is the market leader. If you are considering brick colour changes this really should be your first port of call.

I've used Dyebrick to blend in a new extension with with some existing 100 year old bricks on my house. Every new brick that was available was either too bright or too dark. I eventually used some darker bricks and then added a few coats of dyebrick to get a pretty much perfect match. Dale was very helpful in getting the correct product for my needs and it was really easy to apply (as an amateur). It has been on over a year now and looks perfect. I would really recommend trying this out if you have a brick match that you're not happy with or are looking for bricks for your new extension.

After power washing white paint off, DyeBrick did a excellent job of changing pink roof chimney to charcoal, which I diluted x 1. I’m throughly satisfied and highly recommend it for a high quality do it your product which would save you hundreds of dollars over paying someone else to do a less professional one than you can do yourself.

“Excellent product and external finish. I contacted Dye Brick not knowing there was a solution to this problem – ie non matching building materials could be dyed to match aged stone.

We had new stone wall build next to the front door, this wall was much whiter and brighter than the original aged stone. This left us with a stonewall that stood out and did not match the rest of the house right where you see it most at the front door!

Dale knew exactly what he was doing and, as a result, did a fantastic job. After a couple of tests on spare stone, he began the transformation. The result is unbelievable – you cant tell that there ever was a mis-match. As a result, I would highly recommend this product and this company. Highly skilled and highly recommended. Ordered sample pots to re-do an area of our external wall that had become discoloured.

Ordered on Friday, arrived on Saturday! I am yet to use the pots (bit damp today), but cannot fail with the detailed instructions that accompany the pots. Thank you for your excellent customer service. I cannot thank you enough!

Amazing product and even better customer service.
