I wish I had read the Bailey of Bristol reviews before sending my caravan for repair, I thought it would be in good hands but what a poor decision, 8 to 10 week repair ended up 32 weeks unbelievable, at approximately week 7 We was told all parts were in and it was going into workshop and would be complete in 3 weeks after many excuses and poor customer service from Bailey of Bristol who clearly don’t care about there customers after 32 weeks We finally got our caravan back, the poor service is far to much to list, rapid response is not a logo Bailey Of Bristol will be taking on any time soon, 3 holidays cancelled and numerous weekends, thanks for nothing never again, Poor staff at this firm Gillian and Chantelle try so hard to help but seriously let down by there powers to be (thank you) Chris the new supervisor nice bloke thank you and good luck sorting that shower out.
I haven’t received a survey email so here goes I’ll do it myself
1, how good was we at returning your calls
Terrible
2, how good was we at returning your emails
Terrible
3, how satisfied are you with the time frame of your repair
Terrible
4, how easy was it to book an appointment to collect your caravan
Terrible
5, could you talk to a director
No they hide behind there staff
6, would you use us again
Ha ha ha ha I’d rather snap me arm off

Battery boxes not screwed in,
cabinets not secured, windows falling off the wall and warranty claims for simple parts such as blinds and worktops going on for over a year only to be met with 'supply chain' excuses yet somehow they still seem to produce new caravans week after week, how bizarre and magical! Poor quality and poor aftercare. Will take my money elsewhere in the future. This was on a brand new phoenix 760.

Be very careful before choosing Bailey for your next caravan. Once they sell you the van, that's the end of the cosy relationship. The after sales service is non-existent and considering their vans contain a lot of cheap plastic, it's a nightmare to source if you need a replacement part. If you need parts/spares you have to deal with Prima Leisure - they are not helpful and extremely rude. Take your money somewhere else.

This is my 3rd Bailey caravan, I have gone through the family sized vans with a young family and now have chosen the luxury retirement size, this van is on a par with our Ranger 620/6 in size but inside it is out of the world for luxury and convenience but without the price tag of some other top of the range brands that we viewed before settling on this Alicante Grande Porto. Outside you have access to storage under a front bunk for wet storage plus gas container dedicated storage with gas and electric point. Inside you have 4 berths in the shape of 2 large double beds ( one island ) and an amazing mid axel dedicated wash room, and separate bedroom with closing doors between each section giving amazing privacy and sound protection from snorers!!!!!
Plenty of kitchen storage cupboards and bedroom for clothes etc.
Island bed has memory foam mattress which is superbly comfortable although is high to get into ( for us short people!) but plenty long enough for our 6’4” Son in law to sleep, height means good storage underneath although being at rear end of unit you need to wary of weight.
Overall - An amazing Van that we are enjoying, only drawback is the need to line up wheel lock points whilst hitched or using motor mover.

I have been waiting for a warranty repair on the Whale on our Adamo for 6 months now. Lowdams assure me it on back order with Bailey which does not add up as the parts are available in Lowdams own shop!
If they take this much care of the customers publicly imagine what their production line quality it like!

Before making a purchase consider this statement from Bailey Caravans - ' 'WHILST WE WOULD LOVE TO THINK THAT EVERY VAN COULD LEAVE OUR FACTORY WITHOUT THE THE NEED FOR RESTORATION 100% OF THE TIME , THIS IS SIMPLY NOT POSSIBLE TO GUARANTEE WITH SUCH A HAND-CRAFTED COMPLEX PRODUCT' - '
Wow! so your brand new caravan will need restoring before you can take delivery

Purchased a new Phoenix 640 plus, last caravan was a Ranger 4 berth. This new caravan is a big step up in terms of technology, layout, materials, insulation, finish and comfort, very pleased. Delivery by the manufacturer delayed a bit. Not unexpected given current issues, worth waiting for.
