These people do alterations as well and the craftsmanship is superb.

I have a set of their webbing I bought in 2011. After years of use in the tropics, the D-rings and roll pin buckle had rusted but were still structurally sound. I recently wrote to them, as I had noticed that their newer webbing uses polymer in place of the previous metal components, to see if they could change all of my rusted parts, something I was willing to pay for. They said that if I brought the kit to the shop they would change it all for no cost with the exception of the roll pin buckle which would be replaced with a new cobra buckle for 19 pounds - a price I was more than happy to pay. Some time later I drove down to the shop in Brecon on a lovely wet summer's morning , getting there as it opened. They had all the D-rings changed and the cobra buckle on all within less than an hour and I was back on my way.

Although the webbing may not be cheap, the service I experienced and the willingness to back their kit, show the true value of their products.

Called ahead of purchasing my order as I Had some specific and special instructions. The staff are very polite and helpful answering all my questions. The quality of the product I received back after having the work done is superb, very strong and looks like it will last a lifetime. Return was very quick and prompt much faster than what I was expecting it to be (less than a week all together). Well worth the money i spent and highly recommend others to use their services.
I’ll certainly be using there services for further items in the future.

Had my MTP bergan modified last year with the following modifications: basha pouch, triple pouch, wider straps and back spacer. The basha pouch is by far my favourite modification in terms of quality and function, it is a great addition. The triple pouch is my 2nd favourite, really adds some useful utility to the bergan, although I would like to see an inner liner to give some additional protection from water. The wider straps looks good, although I'm not 100% sure whether they are substantially better that the original. The back spacer is a good addition, it definitely adds more comfort to the bergan. In terms of quality, everyone knows that JayJays quality is excellent, so I've not had any issues. For the modification I purchased I would say the basha pouch is 5 stars, back spacer 5 stars, triple pouch 4 stars and wider straps 3 stars. I would definitely recommend the basha pouch, back spacer and triple pouch, not sure about the wider straps.

I left off an item from my initial order with Jay Jays so had to do a second order and Jay Jays without me asking or contacting them issued a refund for the second postage cost, I don’t know of any other company that would do this.
I was kept up to-date with the progress of my order and it came within 2 days.
