A fantastic display of model boat props from the TV series TUGS. A great visit for fans old and new.

A splendid display of priceless artifacts from a TV show that deserved more recognition than it received. The people who make the exhibition possible (on a strictly volunteer basis, no less!) are knowledegable, professional and always make sure every visitor leaves happy and satisfied. Truly a place not to be missed when visiting the Midland Railway.

As one of regular visitors to the exhibition coach and a fan of both Thomas & Friends and Tugs growing up, I was really amazed at the sight of original character models and prop assets up close in person, and the staff are helpful and friendly whenever I have an enquiry or something related to the models. In all it even helps me to furthering my acquaintance with many more friends. Highly recommended!

All the people of the organisation are doing a great job. Especially looking aftering the models. I came last year and I thought it was wonderful. I would love to come back again. The staff are friendly, kind and helpful and also they are good people to get on well with. I wouldn't have made new friends if it wasn't for them. 🙂

Unfortunately arrived on a day when refurbs where going on for the 30th anniversary show! Happily, the guys are super lovely and they kindly let me in to see the models! I cant thank them enough for taking the time to show me around and talking with me. I left with a massive smile having seen the displays and hearing some history. I'll definately be back one day to see it in all its glory. Thank you!!!

Highly recommend visiting the exhibition if you're a fan of the show - there's plenty to see and the collective knowledge of the volunteers is excellent!

One of the best museums to visit in the UK. Always enjoy the experience everytime I visit and I look forward to going back in the near future.

For anyone who's passionate in television props, this one is for you! Every time I visit it, I have always left very satisfied! The staff have always been very accommodating, friendly and knowledgable. Without them, these models & props would not receive the care and attention they need. Having a dedicated museum established for this underrated 80s children's TV series is the best tribute to those involved in its production.
