The staff are wonderful! They ensure you get the most out of your visit: there when needed, as much/ as little as you want.
Ronald O'Kane kindly did the introduction tour twice for our group so the hard of hearing and parents could benefit without our littlest ones.
Very interesting to find out how much we owe to the town of Dumbarton and to learn about the brilliance of Denny's that helped shape our shipping world.
The children's spacious facilities are surprisingly good!! Found it hard to get both young and old out of the museum, haha!

If you love engineering museums, then this is a must. Loads of things to read, see, touch and marvel at. Small cafe and gift shop to spend a bit more cash in. Worth a visit.

Small museum, with a fair entry price. Amazing for tourists, with a group, families or on your own. Definitely recommend if you wanna learn about the history of Dumbarton and the shipyards.

Kind staff with a lot of knowledge, and you can see how they are currently working on repairing an older boat.

What a lovely experience here the staff were wonderful and the building itself is beautiful. The exhibits are great the only thing I would have preferred is if there were a couple more interactive things (such as the gears) my son loved it but we would have stayed longer.

Friendly staff interesting museum showing how hull model testing influenced the design of ships and how the Denny yard evolved and what it meant to the Dumbarton community.
Still just as good and interesting as ever, staff really pleasant and helpful, especially with the ids who were there.

Great little museum showing entrepreneurship and innovation that accelerated Scottish ship building! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended if you are interested.

If you love local history this museum is interesting. It has plenty of photographs and ships' models which explains how important shipbuilding on the Clyde was in the past. Lovely café too.

My kids loved there, they've a children's corner. It's nice to go there, is formidable for kids and adults to.
