The training is ok for someone who wants to do a decent workout in the evenings. Nothing extraordinary though.

The 1 star review is due to the way they setup the payment with an external agency. I signed up over a year ago. I believe the minimum term was 3 months. I wasn't convinced with the training and stopped going after a month and payed the 3 months as per contract. However, to cancel my direct debit I had to call an external agency, although I have signed a contract with the school directly. The school was not helpful at all with cancelling this. Not sure if it was due to my misunderstanding or purposeful misinformation, but I felt it was a payment trap. Nevertheless, I terminated the payments to the next possible period and forgot about it. Reviewing my bank account a year later, I saw that the same payment agency they used scheduled a direct payment with the same reference number for £GBP. And that is over 12 months after the last payment I made and some 15 months after terminating my contract with them.

It is disappointing that a leisure sport club is being behaving in this manner. And hiding behind some anonymous payment agency does not speak for an olympic spirit.

They're amazing in general even though they have a tough job. Me and my daughter and son go together and we learn something new every lesson. To all the families like me I 100% recommend it. The atmosphere is amazing. We've been to different places before and after a while my children didn't want to go however this is the first place they really want to go all the time. Everyone is friendly and kind. It feels like your second home. Normally I won't comment this much however I really had to comment this time as they really deserve it. Thank you so much.

Can't recommend them enough, all the coaches Tania, Matt, Michael & Jay go out of their way to help with any concerns you may have, & keep you informed. My son attends, with my input & their input it has helped teach him all the qualities I as a parent want for my son. The receptionist Skeeta is always friendly and welcoming great customer service skills, sometimes wonder how she stays so calm and collected as its so busy at times, dropping off and picking up children in such a small area (the latter being the only thing I could have a moan about, so try to arrive just before my sons class goes in). Definitely recommend to parents for their children.

I am giving 1star because of the experience I have faced with the receptionist name Skeeta in woolwich branch. She has no manners when it comes to customer service, when asked a question she snaps and yells at you. I was shouted and abused in front of people who were waiting at the reception. There was no confidentiality, don’t think she is aware of GDPR regualtions. I have never met a person who is so abrupt and has no common sense of working as a front desk lady. There are other companies who operate in the same building, the spa door is just behind the reception and she is the only one who has access to buzzer door so people have deal with her before entering the building which she probably not happy with. She wasn’t letting me into the spa, though my appointment lady was waiting for me. She interrupted when I was about to enter to Spa and said there is no one there, door is locked, room is dark bla bla bla, which were all false. The spa was open and I had an appointment. She basically needs to do her job and let other people do their job. She is for me a bad receptionist and a bully. I wish I’d never have to deal with her. She needs to wake up before she comes for the job.

Less than 1 star , The receptionist was very loud , rude and had no manners in dealing with customers, very unprofessional, very arrogant in the way she talked and her approach was very threatening. I just wonder , how the company can take risk by employing such rude and unprofessional staff at the desk, both the women at the reception are a disgrace to the company, their attitude was enough not to enter the Pyramid martial arts centre @Woolwich Arsenal Riverside and will make sure not to suggest any friends and family to go there to be bullied by the 2 receptionist.

Ive been a member at pyramid for 7years and find it a great place to bring your children to learn martial arts. I have always found the receptionist team to be helpful, professional and polite. I would recommend to a friend

I find it extremely hard to believe the reviews written here since I visited this place more than once. I strongly suggest people to avoid training at this gym, if you are a martial artist who has trained in previous gyms you can understand the method, and system they have in place is only for the benefit of making maximum profit.

Instructors here barely give any encouragement to students apart from a smile when payment is due at the end of class. Sessions can also be extremely dangerous to students especially for beginners, no protection is given out unless you buy their branded gear which is a joke. Don’t believe me? the rule is stuck up on their changing rooms, the whole place is unprofessional and clearly done for the motivation of making maximum profits.

Training was ok, was not too happy with their payment system looks as if they only care about ur money rather than your development. Plus, the instructor was slightly being racist at times. I also saw the instructor smoke a cigarette outside the gym after class.
