I first fell in love with this style nearly 28 years ago and have experienced 3 previous instructors. I can say that after a long time away from it, that Charlotte is an absolute consummate professional. She is patient, constructively critical and pays attention to every student. A highly skilled practitioner and instructor.

If you are willing to put the time in you'll do well and all in a great friendly and supportive atmosphere. I highly recommend this to everyone if you want to get some exercise and learn effective self defence.

Having trained previously in kickboxing (red belt), Tukido (red belt) and Jeet kune do with Tommy Carruthers, admittedly 20 years ago. I decided to return to martial arts training and decided to train in Wing Chun. I got in touch with Charlotte to arrange my introductory lesson but due to work commitments I was going to have to wait a while. To help me out Charlotte arranged to come to my house and I had my introductory lesson in my back garden with Charlotte, not many people would go out of there way like that.
I have now been training under Charlotte's guidance for 18 months and have found Charlotte to be extremely knowledgeable about the Wing Chun system and it's practical application. I've seen lots of people come along for their introductory lesson and each time they are treated by Charlotte with respect and professionalism. Some people stay and join the club, some don't. Some people think they are going to be Ip Man or Bruce Lee after a few lessons. It doesn't work like that, you need to put the time in to the basics to build on your Wing Chun and Charlotte is great at helping her students of all grades. After 18months I am still getting my first form fine tuned by Charlotte and I very much appreciate the input. I would highly recommend Charlotte and her Wing Chun clubs, members are all friendly & helpful as well.

My children have been visiting Charlotte for lessons for more than a year now. She has such an amazing rapport with children, both of mine respect her as a teacher and see her as a friend. Their confidence has come on leaps and bounds since joining Charlotte's class. She is knowledgeable, professional and likeable. We feel very grateful to have found Charlotte and her class 🌟

BEST WING CHUN SCHOOL.
Nine months ago I sat in the car park ahead of my complementary lesson and told my 47 year old self (you can't do this)I plucked up the courage and have never looked back, Charlotte is a great, kind, patient, knowledgeable teacher, she always has time to answer questions, all the other students welcomed me with such kindness I've not experienced before. I LOVE IT

This is a fantastic place to start your journey with Wing Chun. Charlotte the instructor is brilliant, she’s fun, has a great sense of humour and her classes are never boring. She has such a high level of enthusiasm for this art and you can see straight away how passionate she is and how much she enjoys being an instructor. I’ve learnt so much since I first joined and other than the fact that wing Chun is addictive and not only enjoyable but also great for boosting your confidence one of the main reasons I’ve stayed is because of our instructor. My kids have since started going and they can’t stop talking about her and if they had their way they’d be going every single day. So if you fancy checking it out please do, you won’t regret it.

I began my wing Chung journey with Charlotte with a complimentary session just before Christmas. I was working on weight loss and was after an activity that would help give me a push further than I’d been taking myself. I’d been signed up for a gym before but it’s solitary and easy to not go, or just do the minimum.
I knew I needed something like this class.
It isn’t always easy to be the new kid in class, but I couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome by both Charlotte and the other student’s there at my complimentary session. It was enough for me to sign up and commit to the journey.
I’m about 4 weeks in and this class has already made such a big difference to me. I think Charlotte is an excellent instructor, what she does and teaches and her approach works 100% for me. Just this week we worked on a drill that at first I couldn’t wrap my brain around at first but Charlotte got me there and it just clicked, I love that “ah I’ve cracked it” feeling.
But also, my fellow students are great and supportive and nobody seems to come in with an ego, regardless of how advanced in grade they are. I come away from each session feeling positive and like I’ve taken another step forward, never backwards. I’m excited to keep going and pushing myself with Charlotte’s guidance.

I have been training Wing Chun Kung Fu with Charlotte for almost 2 years and I absolutely love it! Charlotte is a skilled, patient, funny and enthusiastic teacher who takes her time to ensure you get the best possible experience in every class.

I feel I have made huge progress in my own Wing Chun journey and this is all down to Charlotte’s fun and informal style.

I can’t wait to see how far I can go 🙏👊

Charlotte has been teaching my children for a year now and they absolutely love Wing Chun and they love her! We have tried several after school activities, which neither of them have stuck with after a few weeks, but Charlotte really engages with the children and keeps them interested. Highly recommended to anyone with children who have plenty of energy to burn!!
