Hello I don’t usually leave reviews but it has to be done. I called lord of body last minute today and wanted treatment on acupuncture and a massage as was In a bit of pain in the legs and left rib. The doctor the owner and staff where amazingly welcoming and the treatment was 100% I even booked and payed there and then for the same treatment for the next few days as I felt the benefits right away. I will be looking into other treatment they do for sure 1st class service. That’s Danny the customer

I initially went in to Lord of Body for a massage, which was the BEST massage I have ever experienced. My lower back and legs were in much pain and one of Anni's team recommended that I see the Doctor for Acupuncture treatment. That is when I met with Anni. She is such an absolute natural, kind, caring and very intuitive and I have never looked back. I still have a few treatments to go and I always look forward to them. My pain has eased tremendously, I sleep better and feel a lot happier with a lot more energy. I will certainly be continuing with MOT's and the odd massage. Amazing and I can't recommend Anni or her team more. First class people and a first class service. Love!

Attended today for first time for acupuncture. I was really looking forward to this. Unfortunately Dr wasn’t there (for unavoidable reason). What wasn’t good was the customer service. No attempt to contact me before arriving. No apologies( or explanation to begin with) just “she’s not here” they really didn’t seem to care. i asked why they didn’t call me to notify me but they didn’t have a reply. I explained that ide travelled from a fair distance so coming back several hours later was very inconvenient and ide taken a day off work to attended. they offered alternative of a 30 min massage. I declined as that’s not suitable alternative to a 1 hr acupuncture session and it seemed like I was inconveniencing them so wouldn’t have been a nice massage anyways. Unfortunately this has put me off very much and I will not be returning. Now I’m stuck trying to get a refund as I paid via online merchant.

Using a Groupon voucher: I was under the impression that the massage would be for 1 hour. I was given acupuncture, which was OK. I was then left in a room for 20 mins, the massage was terrible and only lasted 10-15 minutes. If you aren't paying full price for the service, they simply do not care. Worst of all the lady asked to film me through the treatment, which made me feel very uncomfortable.

I had a groupon deal , spoke to doctor for a while who said she was trying to waist time so that we could go upstairs instead eventually went into a downstairs room which felt damp and uncomfortable, I mentioned terrible knee and quad pain so the doctor placed pins in my belly. She then proceeded to answere a phone call with her husband (loud speaker) over their car and when he asked for a spare key so he could collect the car she placed a heat lamp on and left me for 30min alone.
30min later another lady came in (very little english) and took the needles out making me bleed which was fine but the massage service she then gave me was awful. She refused a deep tissue massage and gave me a hot stone just on the back of my legs and glutes, which lasted 5min maximum. I was shocked , I didn't even get a goodbye when leaving. It was awful and to be honest my knees have been worse since . Would never recommend this service sorry

I believe they're very good at what they do, but they're bedside manner and customer service could be ALOT better. I guess the language barrier doesn't help. And they love to film you without asking.

Not satisfied. They don't speak English and it's difficult to communicate. Massage was not worth at all. It infact triggered my backache.

Lord of Body has an entrance that is quite cluttered but inside you'll find excellent treatments and a master acupuncturist. Took 2 colleagues for a massage after their long flight from Asia and they were glowing about how refreshed they felt.
