When you get all the ingredients you need (which are very good quality) and very clear and precise instructions you will end up with great food - We used this as a distance company team meal witha whatsapp group sharing the cooking experience and mood setting (indian music) and had a great evening. Great idea from the Cookaway founders. Also thanks to Perkbox for giving us the idea in the first place - it definitely wont be the last meal we purchase from The Cookaway!

The food is delicious and the recipe instructions easy to follow. A very good way to improve your cooking skills.
In lock-down my daughter and her boyfriend loved cooking the box for their virtual date night.

Excellent quality of ingredients and simple to follow menus. The Paella we have made so far was delicious and well worth it in our opinion. Although advertised for two we had four meals out of it and I think it would comfortably feed three hungry people! We are very pleased and will be ordering again in the future

My first Cookaway! Delivery on time. DPD is great. Oh so many different packages, but I had ordered all the extras for my Pakistani meal. I thoroughly enjoyed getting everything together. Not for the faint hearted. You need to be prepared, but everything is provided. Flatbreads and chutney, you make it! (Other kits give ready made items and spice mixes). It being my first kit, it probably took longer to produce the dishes. Excellent results. So good to have all the amounts of ingredients so you can then make the dishes again yourself

Take your time, be Zen about it… it’s worth it.
Had a very delicious Goan Prawn curry. I took my time - that’s the whole point right? Really enjoyed cooking it, and it tasted so good. The fresh coconut was a winner. And I’m going to cook my rice this way all the time now…

My second Cookaway and both times we really enjoyed our meals. It’s virtually foolproof cooking. The finished dishes always look good (a little effort to plate up well is worthwhile) and taste delicious. My husband and I have really appreciated cooking boxes during the pandemic and have tried many but Cookaway is the all round winner for the perfect mix of effort/value/fun. We’ve had such enjoyment from prepping and cooking together once a week and are still opting for this rather than eating out as a twosome. I’ve ordered a cookalong now for a novel family get together evening - okonomiyaki. Just hope my daughter’s kitchen is big enough for six chefs!

We did the Indian cook away on16/7/21. The Keema Matar and fragrant rice with Nidhi . She was full of helpful ideas and allowed everyone time to do each stage in their own time , checking in with everyone to help if needed.it’s my third cook away and I can only say that it didn’t disappoint! The ingredients were fresh, tasty and easy to prepare and the finished result was full of flavour …a real treat

The experience and excitement starts with delivery of the box. Really nice way to be introduced to other kitchens. High quality ingredients and no requirement to sign up to anything. Great alternative to eating out!

Used the Cookalong for a corporate event. A great treat for everyone involved and a real highlight in the week for everyone. The right amount of 'feeling together' and involved and relaxed evening within own household. Easy to organise with the Cookaway team.
