Matt was there on time when I reached his workshop and the parts were ready as he had ordered them before for me. He serviced my car and checked for brake discs, pads etc. Didn't take him long. I found him quite organized and methodical in his work. Very reasonable charges and professional service with a smile. 🙂 Definitely recommended.

I took my Mini Cooper to matt as it started to have drivability problems I found matts number online and told him of the fault I was having he was very prompt and helpful on the phone , came out to me and diagnosed the job very quickly , he was very knowledgeable and friendly you could tell he knew his job very well , I then booked my car in with matt and the job was done within 2 days which was great ! I was also really impressed with the price I paid and I have now found my new local mechanic. Would definitely recommend

DO NOT RECOMMEND -POOR WORKMANSHIP. The car needed to have the head gasket changed. He charged me £150 for the replacement of head gasket, and head bolts, along with oil, oil filter, coolant, spark plugs. 2 weeks in the garage, he then charged me £85.00 for coolant tank and cap, thermostat housing replace.

NO RECEIPT FROM THE PARTS SHOP. Took his Word for the cost of the parts! When taking the car home, smoke still was coming out from the engine, returned the car on the same day, he mentioned that it was the jet wash and the rain, and that the car was perfectly fine. HE PROMISED TO SEND ME PHOTOS OF THE WORK verbally and via Text. - WHICH HE NEVER DID. I never saw the OLD parts that had been allegedly changed.

THE MOST DANGEROUS THING was driving the car - and the CAR STOPPED IN THE LIVE LANE- PETROL WAS LEAKING. RAC gave a damning report- that they found fuel delivery pipe not on fuel rail. This is due to POOR WORKMANSHIP.

Problem: Car had been laid up (on a SORN) on the drive since the pandemic hit us and had not been driven. On startup I found a fuel leak under the injectors and no clutch which was unusual as it was a relatively new clutch and there was no fluid or marks on the ground? What could this be?

Dilemma: The car was undriveable, and I had to remove the car from my drive to allow for a builders skip. I didn't want to go to the costly option of a load loader and even then where should I take it? I decided to try a different way to get the car up and running

Solution: I googled for a mobile mechanic and came across Campbell's which was fairly local. On contacting the owner Matt, although he was busy, he offered to come and diagnose the problem asap. He arrived promptly and on time. After a few minutes he was able to find the fuel leaks and repaired them quickly to my satisfaction. The clutch was a different story and as the clutch did not respond to bleeding the cheapest cost option was to replace the slave cylinder which I ordered through my supplier. Matt returned 2 days later and fixed the slave with the view that the Master cylinder should also be changed. I ordered this and it arrived quickly. Matt came the following morning and replaced the corroded and jammed master cylinder. Hurray! The car was up and running. I quickly booked the car n for an MOT that same afternoon and it passed with flying colours! I was so pleased and relieved as i could now get the car off the drive in preparation for the imminent arrival of the builders skip.

So I'd just like to say a big thank you to Matt, for his prompt response, his professional diagnosis (sometimes you have to work by a series of elimination) in regards to which parts were needed and his value for money (far cheaper than a low loader). I would not hesitate to recommend him if you need a good mobile mechanic who knows his stuff and is likeable and good humoured. Thanks Matt.

This doesn't happen often when you meet a person (M and he'll understand by the joke) that can do a job to complete satisfaction.
He was everything a person/mechanic should be, by this i mean the man's character and professionalism is top notch and on point.
His communication skills by text are really good, with no time wasting. He came to do a Mini Service on my car, changing the oil, spark plugs, filter and helped with my locking nuts. I got more than I paid for, and i can honestly say, you would not be disappointed.
Well worth the price!!
I will be using his services again for sure.
