I very rarely write reviews but I'm so appreciative of the work that Ian did for me that I felt I'd got to acknowledge it. We're talking about connecting the electrics up to a third party tow bar (Brink) fitted to a 2019 Transit Connect. This probably sounds straightforward but most definitely ain't because it usually relies on a Ford Main Dealership to do this. Tried a bundle of other garages and eventually traveled to IH. Well worth it because Ian got it sorted (legitimately), installed additional necessary wiring and it's hunky dory. I'm very grateful.

We visited on Saturday for a Major Service and found them to be absolutely exceptional. Ian's a friendly, knowledgable guy and takes the time to explain things clearly. You get a real sense of honesty and transparency, which as you'll know is very important from a garage. Pricing in my opinion is hugely competitive so they do brilliant job there too. We turned up at around opening on the morning and the car was ready within a couple hours - far better than you can expect from most/any main dealers. All in all - if you have a Ford and you're near enough to reach them, there isn't a single reason why you should hesitate to contact them. Excellent mechanic and excellent service!

I should also add, the service mentioned was booked after we'd had an initial visit to discuss concerns with an A/C compressor sound. To this, Ian actually selflessly talked himself out of replacing it to reassure us there wasn't actually an issue - to the extent of providing an example from another vehicle days later for further peace of mind!

Brought my Mercedes CLS for a myriad of different repairs, which were estimated and repaired in quick time with a very competitive rate. Ian is a very knowledgeable guy. Knows his stuff and is very honest and straight down the line. Absolutely will be going back to him.

Decided to take my car to IH Automotive because I liked the existing reviews/posts/pictures on their Facebook page and google reviews, and when I called round to book the car in, I was impressed with the cleanliness and overall presentation of the garage.

Ian's communication via phone calls and texts was spot on, told me exactly what issues the car had and what was required to sort it. Ian also took lots of pictures at my request, which I really appreciated.

Overall a very positive experience, first impressions of the garage were great, Ian's customer service was fantastic and I'll definitely be taking my car back to IH Automotive when other work is due 👍
