JP AUTOS - Mobile Mechanic

Can not recommend James highly enough.
I asked james to come out and have a look at my little KA as it wouldn’t start. Gave him a couple of dates I could do and he booked me in around my work calls which was so helpful as I work from home.

James sorted out my non start fault and I am back on the road quickly which is such a relief as I am back to the office on Monday. Phew!

James did a service on our family car. From start to finish the service was incredibly professional. His time keeping was fantastic, he kept us informed of any necessary repairs and gave us a time scale that said repairs would need to be carried out in so that we didn’t have to pay out for it all in the same month. We were so impressed we have booked James to carry out the advisory repairs at intervals throughout the next 6 months. Really pleased- thanks again!

J P Autos came out and did an oil change for me. Due to being mobile he was able to come at a time and place convenient for me. Very friendly and professional service with a competitive price. I will be using this service again and would highly recommend.

Had an engine light on in my car and was very worried about driving it. Called James who popped round the next morning and did a diagnostic plug in to determine what the issue was. It was found that my car needed an 02 lambda sensor thingy. James managed to get me one the SAME day (!) and fitted it for me so I could still make my evening commitments. Never known service like it and will be highly recommending you to all my friends. Thank you once again for helping a damsel in distress!

James was prompt, efficient and personable. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants the convenience of a home visit at a fraction of the cost of a main stream garage. He fixed my electrical problem and drove to get a new part before returning to install it. Top man!

I had the pleasure of using JP Autos today to repair a faulty fuel filter housing on my Volvo. They arrived promptly and delivered a highly efficient and professional service. I cannot recommend them highly enough, and would have no hesitation in recommending them or using them again.

On the 10th December James gave me a quote for work required, I paid £150 towards the part he needed to buy, he then ignored my calls to arrange the car repair.

He finally arranged a date on the 20th December after I requested a refund but then he re-scheduled it 3 times and then 20 minutes before he was due to arrive to carry out the work he text to say he couldn't do the work as he didn't have the tools.

Surely a mechanic would know what is involved in a repair and if not at least research it well in advance.... HE IS TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL.

I have a real distrust of car dealerships due to previous bad experience, their ridiculous prices and inconvenience. So I therefore booked James in to service my car. He was on time and was very thorough with the yearly servicing of my car. He even pointed out something that i knew previously needed sorting but hadn't mentioned to him. Can highly recommend and will use again, without hesitation.
