I was extremely satisfied with the quality and price of the work carried out and impressed by the customer care and fast response. Had my VW Touareg in for the Head Gasket Replacement. Not only the job was done efficiently but the price was cheaper by far from other two places I've checked. The place is always busy when I drive past, yet attention was immediate. Recommend with no hesitations.

This Garage was recommended to me by another mechanic, who couldn't find the ignition issue on my Mercedes Sprinter. All possible parts were fitted, my all cash was invested but the ignition issue was still there, so the guy recommended to come to Kubiks. A day later I was back on the road and all in all the repairs cost me under £100. I can only confirm what I have experienced, and Kubik did sort my van out. And on the top, they make very nice coffee. :)

Ross has done an amazing work on my Fiat Doblo with my engine replacement. The work has been done at the agreed price and within very timely manners. The van drives superbly now. Most important for a non-mechanical brains like myself- he explained to me the case for the failure, plan for the repairs and cost, and kept me updated with the progress throughout. Highly recommend.

I had the unfortunate experience of sending my car to Kubik Autos back in October 2020. Being new to the area and having to leave my previous mechanic of 15 years, I checked online for local mechanics with good reviews. I eventually found a guy called Ruslan Kubik of Kubik Auto Care in Ashford. Great reviews and apparently honest and reasonably priced.
After Ruslan’s no-show, without reason or any response, on the second attempt he eventually collected my car.
My 2001 Audi TT failed its MOT on a faulty brake sensor and a hole in the exhaust. The quote from Ruslan Kubik was £130. Very reasonable.
But Ruslan started to pick up other faults that the MOT garage missed. He found an extra £420 worth of work!
Because of Kubik Autos “supposedly” good reviews, I decided to run with what he said. I purchased the brake parts myself, to avoid paying inflated garage prices.
I picked the car up, paid Ruslan nearly £600 in cash, and drove my car home.
Within a mile of driving, brake warning light on the dash flashed up. Plus, the brakes were so bad, it was dangerous to drive! Putting your foot halfway down on the pedal there was no bite. To pay nearly £600 and receive a car in worse state than it arrived, just shocking. For any garage to let someone drive away in a death trap!???
I took the car back.
Ruslan sends me a screenshot of his diagnostic screen showing that I now have a faulty ABS pump!!! This is getting way beyond a joke now!!
I asked Ruslan why this was not picked up on the initial scan that he charged me £30 for…..no reply.
I ordered an ABS pump and text to ask how much more this was going to be…….no reply.
I took the ABS pump to Ruslan and asked him to give me a specific price for the work to be done. He said it would cost between £120 - £150. Have a guess…..do you think the work will come in at the lower end of the quote???
Total price £170!!!!!!!!
I could not believe what I was seeing! I asked why the quote is now £20 more than the highest estimate!!
Ruslan’s response – he only quoted for labor. For some reason he didn’t feel the need to explain the brake fluid would cost an extra £20!!
It took 58 days, nearly £800, I finally get my car back, STILL showing the brake warning light on the dash!
I lodged my complaint with Kubik Auto Care and asked for a refund. Also, after repeated requests for some sort of receipt and paperwork for all the cash I gave Ruslan, I had to threaten them with the inland revenue. The same day they sent me the invoices and their response to my complaint.
The person who responded, and wouldn’t put their name to the email, blamed the age of my car, blamed me for buying parts myself, called me a bully, a keyboard warrior and claimed I was dishonest. They refused to take any response for ruining my car. I’m sure the same person will jump on this review, so we can all have a laugh at their response.
If you are a new customer looking for a reliable mechanic, DO NOT USE KUBIK AUTO CARE IN ASHFORD!!!
