NK Motors

I have been using NK Motors for a couple of years now, I have found them totally professional and extremely friendly! Even when I had a flat tyre at six in the morning, they came straight out and sorted it out!! I would be totally happy to recommend them to anyone!!

Unfortunately my experience has been a bad one. I purchased a car and within 30 minutes of leaving I found myself broken down on a 70mph road in the main carriageway with my 3 year old in the back. In the end the car was returned for a refund and have since seen it has been 're advertised as spares or repairs due to the dfp filter being cut out and causing smoke.

The main issue is we are £300 out of pocket due to purchasing a warranty. The warranty had a 14 day cooling off period but each time I called the warranty people there was no record of a warranty so couldn't get our refund. Many texts went backwards and forwards to a guy I dealt with Spencer Hannon and I was told he was having a meeting with warranty manager , then he was off ill, then moving and wouldn't be in.
What has basically happened is he has pocketed the £300.
Eventually I spoke to Nigel who told me that Spencer was site sharing and trading as affordable cars which I had no idea when I bought the car as I had a NK motors invoice. Spencer has since left nk motors site and since searching online for Spencer Hannon was shocked to find that there are articles when he was at village cars and was doing same there and more and was banned from trading till 2022?!

Whilst I feel a bit bad for Nigel leaving this review as he is quite genuine and friendly , my experience is still bad unfortunately and £300 out of pocket which was a lot for us to find and still struggling to pay back and feel Nigel could have done something as it was one of his cars we purchased.

Very helpful chap, happy to discuss vehicles and allow you to look around in your own time although still cogitating over a renault Kangoo I can recommend the customer service.

Decent guys (ask for Spencer!) very open and honest. Didn't rush us into our purchase.

Friendly and professional.Just like a small local Garage should be.
