Fantastic service - workshops were super clean and tidy, Formula 1 standard. The waiting area itself was beautifully clean and hygienic. Staff have wonderful customer service skills - super friendly and wonderfully efficient. been in wales for a few years now and this is hands down the best garage in the area ( we found out the hard way ). well done lads for setting the standards. I read all reviews on here and saw the few 1 star reviews that were obviously a smear campaigns done rather badly from other garages / users. you always get grumps tapping away on their computer from distance using reviews systems like weapons to defamate the competition...

Our van broke down in Snowdonia and the tow truck dropped us off here.

Both Mike and Barry were great - up front with costs, did everything they could to squeeze us in (despite a clearly busy schedule), explained and showed us the problems and broken parts, and even lent us a courtesy car to explore the area while they fixed the van.

Spoke to a good few of the mechanics on site and they were all really friendly and helpful - saying that they went the extra mile doesn't do it justice. We only wish they were more local for any future problems!

Would recommend to anyone.

We had the misfortune to break down whilst on holiday near Bangor and after a Google search decided to try Mike’s Garage. Our car and ourselves were taken in on his truck and the driver was very helpful and friendly. Mike and his team were excellent and went above and beyond to help us even to lending us a courtesy car.
The garage is spotlessly clean, the toilets and reception areas the best I’ve seen in a garage and the lady who answers the phone is super friendly and helpful.
As they were so good we asked if they would like to carry out a service and the MOT which was almost due.
If you live in the area, please support Mike, if you have the misfortune to break down as we did….please use Mike you will not be disappointed.

Immaculate and very professional. They don’t do work unless they need to. Really friendly and have always looked after me and my other half well. Can’t say more than that :-)

Well RAC have full recommended this garage so my car is on the way there now. These reviews have eased my pain now. I was so upset but when RAC recommend, it has to be good. The RAC are brilliant so I feel more at ease now.

My car broke down and it was taken to Mike's Garage on a Saturday afternoon on the advice of the RAC driver. I needed a new battery and an alternator but with it being a Saturday afternoon I had to leave the car there without a quote for the work. I was charged £561.09 for replacing a battery and an alternator at this garage. The work was carried out promptly and the woman in the reception area was polite and friendly. The garage charged me £55 per hour for its labour so be wary of that. I have no idea how long it takes to change an alternator (a battery can be done in about 20 minutes) but I was charged for two and a half hours of labour. If £55 per hour and two and a half hours to change a battery and an alternator is reasonable to you, then this garage is fine...but it did come across as very expensive to me.
