Mark the mobile mechanics

I had taken my fiat ducato to 4 different garages in The Bridgend area to rectify the speedo not working, none had a clue what the problem was, one phone call to mark and he came out straight away diagnosed the problem in 15 minutes without plugging in to diagnostic saving me £60 that most garages charge. The parts at fault were ordered and fitted vehicle back on the road and a very happy customer would recommend Mark excellent mechanic

I have used Mark a few times. I had him to do diagnostic check on my Fiat.He found that the dpf was blocked. He attempted to clean it with two small machines and a load of cleaner without checking what the cause was. He charged me 156. The clean didn't work . He then charged me 210 pounds for attempting to clean the egr valve in the hope that would do the job

edited- mark has ripped me off. Paid him over 900 pound to fix a car. I asked him at the start whether the car could be fixed or whether I should scrap it. He told me he could fix it, then fraudulently got his friend to pass the MOT when the car was not fixed at all. He misdiagnosed the problem/ignored the problem and each time did enough to get the car started so I'd pay him, but without sorting the deeper underlying issues. Numerous recovery mechanics and others have now confirmed that he has been dishonest and did not fix anything about the car. AVOID.

Turned up quickly and reassured me he would be back with the required part. Never heard from him again (despite several reminders). Too lazy to do the job or get back in touch.

Great service. Mark was able to fit me in within two hours after a cancellation. Explained what he was going to do, did it and gave me advice on self repair if I ever had the problem again. The price was well under what I expected. I will definitely use him again.

I’ve used Mark for 3 of my vehicles, he has attended to every vehicle issue at short notice. He is a reliable and honest mechanic who goes the extra mile to fix problems. I will undoubtedly keep using Mark’s services in the future.
