I used servicestop website to organise my MOT and it went to this garage. They attempted to over charge me massively. For two front tyres, break pads and disc and a new wind screen wiper and to re do the MOT, they asked £495!!! I obviously shopped around and found another garage in Newport that would do it all, including the MOT for £260. I have previously used servicestop and had not been overcharged when it went to other garages. So, what annoys me the most is that they thought they'd get away with this massive over charge.

The only garage I trust with my cars, always a first class friendly service, reasonable pricing and they don’t try and sell you anything you don’t need.

I stumbled across this garage by chance when I was at farmbank towing close by and I'm glad I did. Having had some strange noises coming from my engine for a while and doing some online research I asked if they could diagnose the noise and price the job. The garage owner had my timing chain issue spot on and was extremely knowledgable about the work that needed doing which on my car meant a full engine out job. He came back to me within a couple of days with the a quote which was exactly where it should have been ( I'd already been quoted over £1000 more by another garage that is classed as a "specialist ") . I instantly booked in as my trust had been gained for a second time. Communication was fantastic with updates from the garage each day of the progress and was even happier when the job was completed a day ahead of schedule which meant I could get my car back in time for going away.

I will certainly be using their services again and feel like I have found a trusted and honest mechanic.

It would have been nice to be able to rate this business based on the work they carried out.
Unfortunately, after fighting my way through the early morning rush hour traffic to make sure I arrived on time, to my dismay there was nobody there, and the doors were firmly shut!
I waited for another fifteen minutes, tried calling, and even asked next door, but couldn't get hold of anyone.
I couldn't even leave a message, as the answer phone was not working either.
There has been no contact since, not even to offer an apology.
Definitely won't be making that mistake again, I'm sure there are other garages that would be happy to accommodate me.

Can’t praise these guys enough. Fitted me in when I needed my MOT done ASAP. Kept in touch through out the day. Failed my MOT but ordered parts and had my car back on the road by the end of the day.

Had ABS fult on my car due to it being cut and they said they would replace the hole wire but they didn’t basically charged me £100 to put the wires back together and taped it up don’t recommend this garage at all gain your trust then rip you off

Not only did they do a great job with my car, the customer service was excellent. Highly recommend.

Chip, did the MOT on my old Jeep, the MOT required work to be done, Chip got this sorted as it was a suspension issue. The car was much better after the MOT.

However, some months later, I went to get a tyre checked at Samco, and found out that, the locking wheel nut was not the same one.

I thought this would start the blame game, but it didn't. You should measure a business on things that go wrong rather than if everything works out well.

So it went wrong, and Chip was totally honest, did everything, he could do to resolve the issue including paying for all locking wheel nuts to be replaced at his expense.

Based upon the above, I would reccomend Revolution Motors and Chip, as being a business to have confidence in.
