An absolute shambles of a surgery. Incompetent is an understatement. Avoid this surgery where possible. All they care about is their Qof money and tick box practice. One star is too good for this practice. They really don't care. If you value your life, register elsewhere.

Awful, awful surgery. Absolutely blighted with issues. In the 5 months I have been with the surgery I have barely had a prescription issued correctly. They have tried lying to my face to cover their own faults on several occasions. There have been numerous "clerical errors" with referrals and appointments. Doctors also not calling the correct number and not referring with the right information. They cancelled my two weeks scripts (issued by my last surgery in a different county to cover my house move) leaving me without any medication, with multiple health issues, and without the provision of an appointment. The continous issues have made me incredibly ill on several occasions through the sheer stress of this horrendous experience. I dare not move until I have gotten my care to a certain place as I cannot face further problems in moving again. Awful, just awful!!! Also comoletely lost the records of my covid vaccination and then attempted to tell me I had never had the first dose when trying to book the second. Also issues this without any details.

Also extremely rude staff that talk over you, say rude things and think they themselves are specialists. Also don't listen.

Some awful, and often inexperienced Doctors who don't listen, translate symptoms into those that fit with something completely different and also inflict stigma and ego against patients. On the plus side, if you can get one of the very few decent ones, they are really good. Pot luck though! A constant battle with this place.

My rating is solely for Ella (I hope I have her name correct) who has taken my blood on two occasions. On both occasions she has been so friendly and is so good I have not had a mark on either occasion. I think it is important to give positive feedback as this can be forgotten.

I’ve had the pleasure of visiting the Hawthorn Surgery today with my son and I must say I have never come across another GP such as Dr Arkley he was extremely polite was listening to us like he cares for his patients I didn’t feel like he wanted us in and out of the door without fully hearing us out Amazing GP practitioner.

I rang the surgery in the morning, they arranged for Dan the paramedic to call me. He offered me an appointment that morning. I was very happy with consultation. He was helpful, knowledgeable and answered all my questions and concerns.

Absolutely appalling surgery to the point where I'm going to change surgeries.
I'd give it zero stars if I could!!!
I needed an appointment that's why I phoned them in the first place...but oh no not at this surgery!!!
The receptionist told me the doctor she spoke to told her to tell me to go to A&E. 55 minutes holding on as I was no.14 in the queue waiting for that answer!!!
What does it take to get an appointment with this surgery???????
Phone wait over 55 minutes
Not allowed to walk in and book an appointment as you can only ring on the day.
No walk in centre to sit and wait available here either.
Why does this surgery exist if you can't get to see a doctor or at minimum speak to a doctor?????

Spoke to the prescription manager wouldn’t give me her name was rude and raised her voice at me. I couldn’t breath very well or speak as I’m in desperate need of an inhaler and they hung up on me.not what I expect from a doctor’s practice

Very bad and unprofessional. I have been calling them for past 3 days for appointment and I haven't received one yet. It seems they don't really care about you. NHS in UK is really useless, back in my country you could get treated on the very same day or time without any hassle.
