The Hythe Medical Centre

3-4 years ago this would’ve been 5 stars but since they’ve taken on more patients it’s impossible to get through on the phone and twice I’ve waited in line at the pharmacy to find my prescription hasn’t been sent.
When you do get through the staff are all great. Maintaining a 4 star review because the phone issues are due to NHS underfunding and loading them with too many patients after another local GP closed.

Absolutely useless. First time I've ever spoken to a doctor at this practice. The doctor was so rude and just spoke over me the whole time. Didn't let me explain anything and just basically told me there is nothing that could be done for me. If I could give less than 1 star I would. Never going to use this practice again

I have nothing expect appreciation for doctors and all the staff at the Hythe Surgery. They are caring and very attentive.
I wish them best in their service to community and long may continue.

I have been discriminated because of my disability by Doktor Wilson. She questioned me over the phone about my blue badge???!!!!!!!! Unacceptable behaviour coming from the Doctor Who also need to deal with different patients issues .

The pharmacist was very helpful, called me a day early and then rang me back as I was out driving and sorted everything for me.

My experience of this GP practice, before, during & after the Covid pandemic, has been entirely positive.

I’ve always been able to get an appointment with a GP, or the excellent practice nurse, within a reasonable timeframe. I’ve found the GP’s to be attentive, caring & efficient & they have all been good at following up on any actions that they have said that they would do.

The reception staff are also friendly & helpful & I love the telephone system which holds your place in the queue & calls you back when you have reached the top of the queue. It is so much better than other GP practices which still either hold you in the queue for ages or worse still give you the busy tone & force you to keep re-dialling.

I have no hesitation in recommending this excellent GP practice.

Just want to say a big thank you to Kaleem Aslam who has just been very reassuring and giving me some practical advice. He made me feel very comfortable and put me at ease .

I spoke with Kaleem Aslam a couple of times regarding my blood pressure.
Kaleem couldn't be more helpful he was great.
