I have been with this gp practice for a little under a year since moving to Mansfield and managed to get a massive 1 or 2 appointments.

I've been ringing at 8am for the last week to get through a rather annoying automated system to be told they are to busy and cannot answer my call, the latest I've called is 08:04am, And have been told the same.

I've not managed to speak to an actual receptionist to ask for an appointment, Unsure why but it can't be because they are swamped with calls, I haven't even been entered into a queing system. The line just goes dead.

I did manage to get through today and as soon as the phone was answered the receptionist put the phone down, I'm not sure what is happening with this surgery but it's either poorly managed, understaffed, Or the staff are bone idle and don't answer the phone. I'll let you decided which.

The practice is an absolute Shower, Avoid and join another practice where you might actually get to speak to a person and ask for advice.

Awful Gp Practice. The receptionists do all they can to stop you seeing a Gp. When you ring at 8 in the morning you have to then listen to an annoying and irritating voice recording and then a very abrupt blokes voice after telling you have reached the maximum safe call out. When you actually do get to speak to a receptionist they seem to think that there medically trained to ask you questions about what your ringing for. Avoid this practice.

Being pregnant makes you crazy that you have to call them with no answers. Been dealing with a problem which should've been easy get rid of but instead I have it for long time because at first time I couldn't get all the medication I needed. Now I was told I had a prescription which I didn't know about, then went to buy it as I was told I could just get in pharmacy (I asked first if I needed to go the practice to get it), none of them said they have something on my name in the pharmacy's , now they said I have to get it from practice. How can you get proper help. On the bright side midwife is really nice and helpful.

Stuck in queue position 9 for 28 minutes!!

I have been trying to get an appointment for weeks.
When I get through, there are no appointments left for the day!

So time to leave you a review Orchard.

I went private for some blood tests a few months back, when I finally got an appointment at Orchard, I told the Dr that I’d gone Private and here are my blood results, she was not happy, she actually said “we could’ve done those”
I said “you did but them, you said I had to do another because there wasn’t enough blood”
I decided to go private because it’s quicker!

She then said “we’ll I don’t suppose you are flush with money”’

Erm excuse me, clearly I can afford it if I couldn’t I wouldn’t have gone.!

She then picked apart the findings on my blood results, makings comments about the private Drs abbreviations and laughing.
I needed a stool sample and some other things, did she book me in for one, no! She booked me another blood test!
I didn’t book it because I’d just paid £800+ plus for one Private, she saw the results and that’s what she did!
Can’t get my breath!

I’ll give 5 stars to the nurse that did my smear!

OMG this practice has gone to pot, the Doctors are all fantastic but not sure if only one doctor works each day as what the he’ll is happening
After being in a queue for over an hour after being asked to phone at 8am then to be told all morning appointments gone ring again after 1.30 so I did and waited over an hour again in a queue to be told sorry will have to phone after 8am tomorrow
I explained my 12 year old daughter is very ill and needs to be seen by a doctor none of the receptionist have any empathy whatsoever, so rude , speak to you like robots
So. Had to phone 111 for advice who said my daughter needs to be seen so I will refer immediately to your surgery and they will phone you very soon
Well absolutely disgusting I am still waiting after 24 hours
My poor daughter but thank the lord a good neighbour assessed her and I fetched antibiotics for her at 8pm
I’m so disappointed in what I’ve always believed is a good practice
No faith in them anymore

Rang from 8am in position 23 for ages then 22 etc felt like only 1 person answering calls. Finally call answered to be told full. And to ring from 8am again. Great news for people who work. This was my only morning off I work for NHS shocking

For goodness sake, hire more receptionists!! I understand that it may not be so simple due to budget constraints, but if there are SO many people calling in for appointments, surely there must be some way of hiring more. Preferably some that aren't as rude and/or monotone.

Have been sitting in queues for over an hour only to be told to call at 8am, you call at 8am, only to be told that you must call the next day at 8am! Unbelievable for people that work. Now they have introduced an 'online' system that makes absolutely no sense. Why can you not just walk in and schedule an appointment at the reception? This calling at 8am nonsense is unbelievable and the systems are so unnecessarily complicated to even get a chance to see the doctor

When you finally see a doctor, the experience is fine and the doctors are good people. But good luck getting that far!

Scheduling an appointment is IMPOSSIBLE

8am I am ringing to be cut off as they are already full?!?!
Website doesn’t work to book at maybe so many people are trying to use it at 8am.
For months Iv been trying to get an appointment. My son has been Ill for over a month !!! I CANNOT RISK HIS HEALTH ANYMORE. Guess I will have to show up at the hospital instead
