Apologies for sounding snippy but I will. After a 2 hour wait to speak to our local GP for a repeat prescription of statins for 76 year old mum we called here. Told they can't help at all, try your local GP or Lloyd's in Aberaeron. She's been poorly overnight and frankly the receptionist couldn't give a hoot.

I am thankful and grateful for the amazing recent service I have received after a health scare while on holiday. I returned and was given an appointment immediately. Dr Haven thank you so much for what might have felt an invasive examination, wasn't. I felt safe and secure in your professional hands. I know the surgery is lacking GPs not your fault. I then received a quick referral for ultrasound examination and a further quick response for a hysteroscopy. A phone call within a week of that fit for minor surgery. Thank you so much. Every step of the process has been professional and kind.

The doctor has failed to make referrals that would have improved my mother's quality of life on more than one occasion. In my view this practice is dangerous and poses a significant risk to the public.

Whoever this concerns

I am shocked at the lack of care shown to my father who is 97 and very vulnerable so the doctor was contacted for a home visit by his concerned carer. He was obviously very unwell having had Covid, but the doctor who called did not do anything other than say all he can do is rest, and that he could not do anything, this was completely unacceptable. Yesterday
morning an ambulance was called and he was admitted, diagnosis is post Covid pneumonia, this should have been picked up by the doctor and action taken immediately not allow my father to get to the point of collapse.
I believe that doctors have a duty of care to one's patients and to act in their best interests medically, this was certainly not the case by the doctor in question.
I have already spoke to the Tanyfron surgery this morning and was advised to send an email, I will also put a review onto the website this sort of uncaring behaviour needs to be addressed.

After calling from the states about my mother a few months ago, the very kind doctor called her and told her to take mote Paracetamol, well mam can't take tablets, so least week wrote an email to them wondering why their doctors, RN, lpns, lens,, can't go out on a house anyway since I'm guessing they can't even respond to a simple email the covid must be at an all time high in Aberaeron or they are just to dam lazy to do anything!!! Thank you for looking after the elderly

After phoning the doctor's about my partner's back problems which have got worse all they said was we can't do anything about it. It took alot for her to agree to speak to them, they did this on the phone do they haven't even seen her to diagnose the problem.
