I thought with the CQC review that things might start to improve, how wrong can you be. Booked in to have a blood test as the self check-ins only work intermittently. When booking in I was told I also had an appointment with G at 12:20 did I want to wait, said I would even though I wasn't aware of the appointment. Had my blood test only to be lectured by the phlebotomist about having two appointments a week apart, as they were very busy, without finding out the reasons for this first. Went back down to reception to check where my next appointment was, upstairs or downstairs, queued for about 20 minutes at reception, told it was upstairs with G. I went back upstairs and sat and waited, and waited and waited. At 12:55 some 35 minutes past my appointment time went back downstairs as there was no one in either waiting room. She checked again and my appointment had disappeared. I had been in the surgery for nearly two hours, people coming in without masks and not being challenged, I am immunosuppressed and now have to wait for to see what happens. Surgery deteriorating rapidly.

Yes they are slow at answering the telephones, but this is generally due to the sheer volume of calls they get, we have to except things aren’t the same as 20 years ago. However you feel about the surgery, politeness goes a long way. When you get through they always fit you in if you have a genuine emergency and all staff I’ve encountered have been helpful and understanding.

Please remove the voice of the person who keeps repeating the same information about change of address, how to register, book appointments,It’s bad enough holding on the line for upto an hour and being told there are 20 or more on the line without this person repeating and repeating the same thing. If your feeling ill this does not help you.

I rang this morning at 8am and kept ringing till it was open. . As soon as they were open I pressed 1(one) to speak to the receptionist for an appointment. The answer was I was number 16 in the queue. How is that possible in 2 seconds after you open. Something is not right here.

Horrible experience. The Henry doctor si a big example of don't be like myself! Very rude, he hurt my ears when I've asked him to check as I got pain(he was not bothered at all to do a proper check).
I don't know how on earth people like him are doctors. I've been in pain and had for couple of days fever and showed him picture with my previous temperature and said to me that my mashine is not working as I don't have fever yet; I higlight the fact that I took allready ibuprofen to release my temperature but he don't even carred. No empathy, no common sense, no humanity! My appointment was at 22.15 and been seen at 23.40 without even feeling sorry for the delay!

This did happen and now they sent message saying they challenge my review by deleting it.This incident did happen the doctor was incredibly rude I will continue to publish my review.
New years eve my daughter became unwell vomiting high temperature 🌡 38.3. I work for NHS myself. Me and my wife called 111 there was no appointments in stevenage hospital or watford so they advised as to go Harlow we waited for around 3 hours but when we meet the doctor he didn't seem poilte very rude no empathy at all wanted as to leave all most even when asking questions about medication he couldn't be bothered like we we're bothering him. But I believe bringing in doctors with no manners has become the norm in the NHS. I feel that someone has to do something about people applying to work in hospital environment this country hospitals have become joke.

Very positive experience with this GP. Had few appointments outside working hrs in this GP and doctors and nurses are very polite, supportive and helpful! Well done and keep it up. Strongly recommended!
