Birkdale Paediatric & Adult Neuro Clinic

I walked through the door for the first time, a mass of dizziness and precarious walking. I was completely confused by my illness and in no small measure, isolated by it. What I found at Birkdale was effective care, supported by interesting gizmos, and a solid guidance delivered in an upbeat manner. So joyous it was contagious and so very human.

Birkdale Neuro is an amazing centre and has made a significant difference for my son who has severe cerebral palsy. The team headed by Farshideh go the extra mile and give so much support on a number of levels to families trying to manage complex health needs and mobility issues. I can not recommend strongly enough Birkdale and Farshideh, this is an amazing place and has enabled me to feelI have clear development goals to work for with my son.

We have take our 8 yrs old son Dimitrije on therapy,On Birkdale NeuroPhysio center.No words can explane efforts,comitment and care of Birkdale crew.For that month ,we have been there,we felt like home,and their relationship with a patients is so warm and full of kindness.Farsadeh,Agnieszka and Taraneh thank you for days of hard work and a lot of fun which you have successfully put together.

I’ve been going to Birkdale Neuro for the past two months now and I must say I absolutely love this place. The staff and the environment for treatment are of a very high standard. Everyone is extremely friendly and nice and highly professional. I see Farshideh who is highly knowledgeable, friendly and makes my physio sessions challenging yet really fun at the same time. Physically and mentally I always feel better at the end of the session. Farshideh completely understands the core of all my problems and limitations and targets all areas with both active physio and use of right equipment and simulations. I don’t think there is any other centre like this in London. Its an added bonus that I live only 10 mins away! I have congenital muscular dystrophy and would highly recommend this place to anyone with a similar condition.

Farshideh and all the team at Birkdale are great! Such a friendly and attentive team, who make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door. I have mild right side congenital hemiparesis and have had very little treatment in 20 years since discharged at 16 years old. However, after a few months' treatment at the centre I am discovering movement and strength in my limbs that I didn't know I ever had. The experience, innovation and passion of the team at  Birkdale are proving to me that it is never too late to seek treatment and build up strength and mobility!

Farshideh and the team and Birkdale are absolutely fantastic. They are incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful and they go the extra mile to help you with your individual needs. I have been searching for someone to help me 6 years on after a ski accident and brain injury am so happy I found Farshideh. She saw things other practioners didn't see or ignored and I have been able to add so many things to my daily routine!

Farshideh and her team have saved my life and continue to improve the quality of it every session. It’s such a safe space and everyone is warm and welcoming. Farshideh herself is so knowledgeable and is a powerful and inspiring women. I will be grateful to the Birkdale for as long as I live.

Our son George looks forward to going to see Farsideh. We can see the progress he is making each time he goes.
