Medically the doctors are very good but some of the support staff are incompetent . They are quick to charge money for forms that need signing but fail to process them in an efficient and timely manner. Of course the blame is put on Covid even though in my case they mislaid the receipt and claimed they had tried to contact me. ( no missed calls on my phone) The delay will now cost me money and all I get is “sorry”

An update, It is now over two years since I joined this practice. I have seen a GP in person only once in that time. All other contact has been over the phone with one GP who seems to be looking for something wrong rather than speaking to me about what IS wrong. A pain in the joint has become a precursor to a heart attack and I am being referred to a clinic for chest pain I have never suffered and having a third round of blood tests in as many months.
I joined this practice after seeing the excellent service provided by the Mottingham branch to my friend. I cannot say anything positive about this branch of the practice. The receptionist don't appear to want to help. The practice manager is never available and the only contact I have had with the GPs is by phone and I was berated for my former GP not ordering blood tests before he retired in 2020. Today I had to call more than 30 times to get through only to be told they couldn't advise me and to call elsewhere.

This surgery has fallen well below par. I have been a patient at this surgery for 47 years and I am now looking too join another surgery, Not good enough Lynks practice. Terrible.

Recently joined the practice. The receptionists were very friendly. I have used e-consult twice now and was dealt with within 48hrs saving time going into the practise 😊

Done my blood test over a month , keep calling to check my result and they kept delay to chase up for me. Keep calling them and said they are busy and not sure when can get my result from pathology lab for me! What a bad service !!! The reception are very unhelpful!
Wouldn't recommend this GP!

I really used to like this GP Practice. However, I've just found that they make things difficult everytime you need to contact them. Now I'm not saying all of them are bad but today I had someone on the phone who I was calling to ask about my second pfizer dose (since there was no option on the link I got over text to book a second vaccine and I don't want to wait around I want it pre booked in advance) so as I was explaining she must have tried to speak over me because when I was done explaining it was silent on the end of the line. I said "hello" and she went "yeah wait a minute". Quite taken aback by this response I said "okay jeez".

I didn't do anything to deserve that to be honest. I rarely contact the GP anymore and the one time I do they act so annoyed when I call. I've grown to hate contacting the GP. Also there's times where I need help with something that I can't do over E-consult or would take ridiculously longer to do on the app (you have to fill out an entire questionnaire, even if the thing you need help with is 1 thing) and they've gone "oh do it online go on the E-consult". Now during covid lockdowns I was way more understanding of that. However, they just continue to act like they aren't ever able to take someone's call or that they're in some sort of rush and I'm not about that considering I'm a patient at their medical practice. It's leaving a bad impression on me from the previous opinion I had with this place which is sad. I'm a patient at this GP just like anyone else and no patient at your GP should feel they're an inconvience by calling. I'm honestly quite sick of the rudeness over the phone considering it isn't the first time it's happened.

This surgery is rubbish, I had an appointment to see the nurse, after an 10 min walk, I was told the appoinment was canceled without a phone call. No sorry, waste of time and space. I will be writing to the practice manager with this complaint.

Useless reception staff. My partner has been trying to get an appointment for months, and they tell you to 'do it online'. Ok. Your website says you can still book over the phone, so clearly you just don't want to do your jobs. The pandemic is not an excuse for you to sit doing nothing all day. Do you want to be automated out of your jobs?

So he goes online, tries to reset his password to access the account, and no matter how many times you click reset password, it doesn't send you a link to reset it. He calls the surgery again and explains this and that he's unable to access the account because of this technical issue. Response: "Yeah, but you need to do it online." How can he do it online if your online portal does not work? Why are you incapable of booking appointments when it clearly says you are still able to through phoning in on your webpage?

In the meantime, he's been diagnosed with a serious issue, and hasn't been able to speak to the Doctors for months. So you go on the 'Contact Us' page of the Links Medical Practice website. Go on the complaints page where it tells you to contact the practice manager, preferably in writing. Ok. Click through to the contact page it directs you back to, and all it has is phone numbers. No email to contact them in writing. So clearly you won't lift a finger to actually do your jobs.

So what do you do, ring again, and get told 'we're not booking appointments' again? I've said to call and ask for the practice manager to complain about this, but who knows if he'll even get through reception?

All the reviews on here are clearly written by the staff. Book into another doctor's surgery, unless you want to deal with terrible reception staff. Can't wait until they have to try and find jobs elsewhere with their attitudes towards patient care.
