Newham Medical Centre is a very disrespectful and incompetent team. Leaving 70+ year old stroke patient in a mess of a situation.

- Medications taking forever to be sent to her pharmacy.
- No pain killers for 5months even though this GP said they don't know why. (And pain clinic approved of these medications)
- Poor people skills
- Didn't know about more than 75% of the services they apparently "offer" available to make life easier for my mother.

This team will never take accountability. They supposedly changed management, but clearly not the structural ideology of incompetence. My mother would have died if she had nobody else to fight her side in what should have been a partnership between the GP and herself. I have the lack of care and compassion from this team to thank for this. I wish this team the best, and God save anybody who relies on them for any sort of medical assistance.
If you want to breathe easy, choose elsewhere. Period.

Very very poor service ! Maximum receptionist are not helpful at all. Very difficult to get an appointment. Today I had been waiting for 15 minutes even though I was the 1st on the Queue and when I got the line the Lady without hearing my problem cut the line off. This is not the first time , they made me upset couple of times before. Very disappointed with the New ham Medical centre.

We recently moved to the nearby Newham medical centre one day morning I called gp to book an appointment for 1 year old daughter after all the conversation with the receptionist lady she told me they don’t have any appointments. I was surprised how come a GP like ( Newham medical centre) won’t have any appointments for the babies.the lady on the phone very rude. I have to wait like 40 min on the phone to answer a call from Newham medical centre… I never had these kind of problems earlier with different gps….

My 70 year old grandma walked to the gp at 8am in the morning to book a same day appointment as she doesn’t know how to use the phone, they told her they don’t have any appointments and that my grandma should come back at 2pm. My grandma then came back at 2pm for them to then tell her she cannot book an appointment like that and she needs to call. At this point, I’m better off self diagnosing with Google than even trying to book an appointment with this gp.

Called up to book same day appointment as soon as it hit 2, where I was number 5 on the line. Firstly took ages to pick up litterally waited 40minutes, to then get told there’s no appointments available. Given up with even trying with this gp now I just get myself checked by any pharmacist and purchase medicines myself. They’re receptionists are litterally there to advertise a&e or 111

I have always had a great experience here. Yes it is hard to get an appointment and you can see the guys are working under so much pressure during this time. But I have always been given an appointment. Sam at reception is the best...stern when needs to be but the nicest and friendliest receptionist I have come across. Thank you for calling me back today when the phone lines were dead you truly helped an anxious patient in need.

To the two Asian female receptionists who just turned away an innocent citizen. Please can you both explain to the world's governing body, the World Health Organisation and NHS England. How they would define what good health is? With this kind of service, are they worthy of having a pay rise?

The Gps try their best but reception team except Sarah and Sam are rude and unhelpful. I would think that they would empathise a bit more seeing mostly ill people call in but they are so quick to get you off the phone. Online consultations don't work, when you call no appointments what's the point.
