Ultrasound Plus Watford, Hertfordshire l Private Ultrasound Scans

I had a 4D scan booked at the Brentwood clinic. It was such an amazing experience. All the staff were lovely. We were made to feel so welcome and at ease. Julius explained everything and being a first-time mum, this is exactly what I needed. He answered all our questions and nothing was too much trouble. We got to choose our own pictures without being rushed through them even though there were about 30 really good photos to choose from. The whole experience was amazing and so lovely. Definitely recommend 100%

I didn't even get to an appointment as I had to keep calling up to "confirm" a day and time, it was like a game of phone tennis, very strange system where unless you are speaking to the correct person you cannot book. I finally got through to someone who I thought could help me and they were so rude! The tone she used was unacceptable, she just said how busy they were! Thank goodness I didn't go here to see my 1st child's scan as I'm sure the service would have been even more sloppy!! AVOID!!

Would not recommend. Went for a gender scan today and found the staff quite unaccommodating and didn't take the time to explain anything. The actual scan was very rushed and 4D preview was literally a few seconds. We were not offered to choose the scan photos as I have seen other people in the reviews were able to do that and were subsequently given two almost identical scan photos (we were also asked to go and wait outside whilst and the scan photos would be brought out to us which made it feel very rushed).
I would also like to note that you are not allowed to use phones in the scanning room which is strange as every other private clinic you are usually allowed to so it would have been good if we were aware of this before booking. Finally, we were not asked if we would like to purchase any additional photos/key rings/DVDs etc, I only found this out via a leaflet they put in my folder when I arrived back home which was obviously too late. Overall we were unhappy with the experience and would not return or recommend as there are so many other lovely ultrasound clinics. I actually found my NHS scan was a much nicer experience.

Had a NIPT scan this evening and cannot recommend this clinic highly enough. The receptionist, sonographer and clinician were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. They did everything to out our minds at ease, talked us though everything and could not be more accommodating. Our little peanut was not playing ball during the ultrasound but our sonographer would not be deterred and continued to try and get the picture and measurements we wanted.

Having used other private scans/clinics I would only go back to the Ultrasound plus Watford branch going forward.

Had two early pregnancy scans with these lovelies as I had a missed miscarriage last time and wanted to make sure everything was okay this time. I don’t know what I would have done without Ultrasound Plus Watford! They made us feel so welcome and comfortable. Can’t recommend it enough!

Really lovely staff, so welcoming. Receptionists are always very friendly on every visit I come to. I had my reassurance, gender, and anomaly scan here. The sonographer who scanned me always made me feel comfortable. Honestly, I would always go here for another scan I will need in Watford ❤️

We were waiting for 50 minutes. The actual appointment itself lasted approximately 6minutes. The sonographer was not personable and it felt more like a business appointment rather than a special private baby scan.

The lady on reception was extremely personable, polite and welcoming.

I believe that they should call customers if there is going to be a delay of almost an hour and the sonographer should be more personable and make the experience special.

My NHS appointment was far better and they took a lot longer showing me lots of angles of the baby, the baby moving and providing me with lots of photos.
