Souk Mediterranean East London

Stopped by at Souk on Saturday for a quick snack!
I was overwhelmed by the amazing hospitality, the politeness and courteousness of staff members.

Ordered a panini and a Latte; was served within minutes and the freshness of both the coffee and the panini thrilled me.
Would come back again!!
Highly recommended!

Second time in shop with all colleague. Too many good things to be tempted by. Really nice place, lovely cappuccino, beautifully filled sandwiches- lovely panini, very tasty. good knowledgeable lady who served us.

Today I was there and have to say really disappointed. They didnt acknowledge us when we entered and sat down. Worst bit was when the asian guy from the kitchen gave me a chicken burger, when I explicitly asked for a beef burger meat with my full English breakfast. I asked him, "is that beef?" He responded with a lie, saying yes it is beef and a special burger. I then took a bite into it and was blatantly chicken. So I asked him to take it back. I left confused why he lied and tried to feed me chicken meat???

I go to this cafe near enough every morning and the waitress with the red lipstick is so lovely!! And makes my mocha latte to perfection.

Very clean place. HMC certified. Wide variety of food. Soft Drinks available as well as fresh juice. Lasagne was very flavourful, and salad was fresh and crispy.
Whilst eating in, realised many customers came to purchase panini sandwiches! First time visiting this place, so next time I will definitely be trying a panini! Seemed very popular with customers whom I assume must be locals. The staff were very polite. Took home a spaghetti bolognese for a friend, who thoroughly enjoyed that too!

EDIT-
Came here again and ordered the spag bol... was heavily disappointed I must say. The spaghetti noodles are definitely from yesterday, taste rubbery and honestly plastic. When i dug my fork in, the entire bundle of noodles stuck to my fork. As you can see from the pictures. Smelt awful and tasted awful too.

Best coffee with a wide variety of sandwiches, wraps, English breakfast and mains.
Neat and polite customer service.

Used to be a regular there . Since it changed hands the tastes the flavours have vanished . Food or cuisine is not only ingredients but also culture .Mediterranean foods are best made by Mediterraneans .

A great place to stop for a quick bite to eat. Lots of choice and priced very competitively.
