Was referred by a friend to Jo and was so pleased with the results. My hair is in the best condition it has ever been, even with highlights. Her lovely new salon is great and she is always professional. Maria has cut my hair too and was brilliant. I had an updo for a wedding and had so many compliments. Thank you to Jo and Maria! X

Absolutely love going to see Jo! I moved to Worthing 4 years ago and struggled to find a decent hair dresser in the area! After going to see a few others and having not the best experiences, I was recommended to go to Jo by my sister. It was the best thing I have done, Jo is now the only person I let touch my hair (very fussy I know) but she is the best! She always fits me in with my busy work life and love having a catch up whilst i’m there. Best extensions I’ve had but also, always gives great advice with colouring I have as I’m always changing up my hair! 😬 Thankyou so much jo!

I had Jo come and do hair for myself and my bridal party for my wedding a couple of weeks back. Jo is warm and friendly and worked with each of us to ensure we got the perfect style! Cannot recommend her enough!

I contacted this hairdresser as a colleague highly recommended her, given that I actually like my colleague’s hair I was excited to give it a go. The hairdresser actually has a very friendly manner and I took a liking to her. We discussed what I wanted done at length (blonde balayage on my brown hair, which I can recognize as being a tricky procedure) and haircut and I was happy with the plan we had put together – I could already see myself as a regular client, I thought she was fantastic.
After having my hair done I did not like it but I said I did (really hoping I would grow to like it, and hoping that after a second application I would feel better about it – I was very keen on my wanted look) - I had very golden highlights that did not blend well with my dark brown hair. Feedback from my friends was awful, they all agreed that I wasn’t the only one to think the style was way off what I wanted or even a decent look.
By the next day I actually hated it and I politely asked the hairdresser if I could possibly have it coloured back to brown. She responded in a defensive way saying that she doesn’t understand what I don’t like and that it was what I asked for (in a nutshell) so I felt compelled to send her the picture of a hairstyle that she said she would deliver to explain how those were 2 very different results and that I couldn’t see how that will be achieved even after more applications. In response she had been very rude and insulting and basically told me to look elsewhere. To get an idea about the nastiness: I mentioned during our appointment that I had gone to a couple of other hair salons in town as I had recently moved here and in her latest texts she said “you said a few times you are never happy with any stylist so maybe you need to be realistic about what you can and can’t achieve so you don’t feel disappointed all the time” and ended with “thank you for your custom but I feel that as you feel I’m so incompetent that you look elsewhere for a stylist”. This is in a context where she did mention that in the worse case scenario she could dye my hair back to my initial colour.

I have been blonde for a very long time (in fact so long I barely remember my natural hair colour). However, over the last few months I've realised that I missed having hair that didn't go brassy over time. I read reviews and saw photos of the hair that Jo has achieved and felt hopeful. So I booked an appointment (really lucky as it was right at the end of lockdown #3)...and my hair feels soft, looks natural and as I only had vague ideas of what I wanted, the suggestions were incredible. I really love it and though the dark is going to take some getting used to (see above re blonde) it's the healthiest my hair has looked in a long while.
Jo was helpful, honest about what we could achieve and about possible issues we could encounter. She also talked about ways to get around these issues during the colouring process. Told me about ways to style it and keep it in good condition and also how to maintain the colour in between appointments.
