It is difficult provide an accurate account of Glenfield because most, if not all of the static caravans are privately owned and normally not rented out, apart from to family and friends of the owners. What I can say is that this site is immaculately maintained to a very high standard. Has terrific views of the countryside and farming animals. Excellent security and access to WiFi. The location is not close to shopping facilities (apart from the odd farm shop) A car would definitely be required to get about. Overall, if you want a country location and a caravan is available on this site, then grab it with open arms.

My nan has a caravan here that I visit and there are many things I can say, barely any of those thing good. Let’s start with the fact they called it a leisure park when there is not form of entertainment and could be the most boring place you will ever go, they should definitely rephrase it to caravan park. In addition, the free WiFi the they advertise does not reach all the caravans, is very slow and if you are are located at the back of the site the WiFi is none existent. As well as that, they clearly state having a fully stocked fishing pond and is can tell you now that that pond has never ever had fish in it and only has the inhabitants of ducks. Next is their beautiful statues and fountains, so okay they are really pretty but the dolphin fountain has have never seen working and only sometimes do they have the fountains on. Yes I am still going. If you have a dog you can’t take it off the lead when walking round the park ( or you will get told to do so) and the field they had gets cut and they leave the grass all over the field. Every morning you will wake up to the beautiful sound of a lawn mower cutting the grass and they leave the grass on you garden to rot away. They do have another field on the park ( so no dog off lead) and is clearly states no ball games so this place is not great for children. The surrounding area of pilling has absolutely nothing around for miles with no shops and entertainment about. Another thing is that other reviews say that the park is clean but want they have failed to mention it the constantly overflowing bin that smell horrendous. You also need to keep in mind that you can’t have washing out on the weekends as the a supposedly giving people tours. The security Barrier that they talk about on their website opens at 7am and closes at 6pm do you need a remote to open it after that time which cost £25 to buy at the office if you lost it.

This a permanent residential site on which I live. It is quiet and residents look out for each other. There is a large dog walking field on which there is a lake which you can fish. Lovely field in the summer but boggy just now through so much rain. Love living in this peaceful part of Lancaster from where Lancaster and large towns are easily accessible.
