Excellent beef hash. Service was pleasant. It is a very light and open restaurant. Reservations are recommended, but we were able to walk in and be seated.

Brunch experience at Hood can really vary on your selection. For example the main course are usually delicious, but if you want to spend less the poach eggs with squaek is really nice and on budget.
Twice I have ordered flatbread and both times disappointed. Too much bread in proportion to the filling.

Best starter I have had in years: House hot smoked salmon, soft boiled egg, pink firs, mustard & creme fraiche
dressing, mixed leaves. The dressing was superb. Five of us each had different mains, all fabulous. Congratulations to the chef, and the lovely staff.

Most favourite restaurant in the whole south of London.
Stunning atmosphere with staff that is always welcoming warm and friendly.
Having a drink of a bite to eat at the hood feels like coming home to friends and family.
Marvelous selection of wines and beers.
Their food menu is very creative and has something for everyone.
Portion size is great, as I can eat a starter and feel like I had a main.
Hands down.

The food was amazing! Very high quality.
It was seriously so much better than expensive restaurants such as Berners Tavern or the Ivy. I want to try all the food on the menus. 😍

Loved Christmas dinner last night. Did not feel rushed and dinner was well paced by the wonderful servers from appetizer through the desert. Figgy pudding was supposedly steamed but was a little dry around the edges with not as much fruit as I prefer. But it was quite tasty and the custard was a good consistency for me. We loved the choices of each course. The steak and brisket entrée was perfect and the sauces on each of the meals our group had were pleasant and well thought accompaniments to the meal.
Great selection of wines, notable for their inclusion of both French and South African reds.

One of the best independent restaurants that I’ve been to in London. Both the brunch menu and the steak nights are great - I’m looking forward to trying the ever changing dinner menu
