Cinnamon Lounge.

Fantastic food! Delicious, creamy, fluffy... Just amazing.. when you fancy a curry this is the place to go..

The service was good as usual but I was very disappointed with the meal this time. We've been here a few times and its been ok but this time it was bad.

First of all the seats are in desperate need of replacement or restuffing. After a few minutes you realise that you are gradually dropping to the floor. We asked for cushions for additional support but none were available so we had to put up with a very uncomfortable posture throughout the meal.

While we are on the subject of the furniture, some of the tables are very poor supported so don't put too much weight on the sides as the whole table could tip up as happened to the couple on the next table. Very messy!

So to the food.

I ordered the mushroom, garlic and paneer starter. This arrived as a plate of melted cheese and chopped up tinned mushrooms. It was swimming in grease and the paneer was nowhere to be seen. We suspected the chef had run out of paneer and substituted with cheddar. I pointed out the issue to the waiter but he just brushed it off as if that's the way it is. I have a photo which I'll upload.

On to the main course, tandoori chicken. This is my go to dish at any Indian restaurant and a good indicator of the quality of the chef. Unfortunately this time the chef must have had a bad day. It arrived on the sizzling plate (completely unnecessary) and was again barely recognisable as chicken! (See photo) The chicken must have been a skinny little thing as it was difficult to find a decent chunk of meat on it. I don't know how this had been cooked but it certainly wasn't in a tandoor oven. It had been marinaded but had probably been fried off with onions and so on. The taste was underwhelming and overall disappointing.

The naan, rice and veggies side dishes were ok, as was the kulfi ice cream.

Unfortunately we'll not be returning until they sort out the chairs and chef!

Awful. The food took 2h to arrive. I called after an hour and the guy was very apologetic. A technical error had caused my order to be lost but it would be with me in 20min - fair enough, these things happen. It was another hour until the food turned up. The food wasn’t great and was cold. To make things worse the woman who delivered did not admit the error but said they had been busy which was why it was late. She then went in to tell me I shouldn’t have ordered from them as the restaurant was too far away!!! They advised delivery on food hub. I asked for a refund but was told no. Won’t order from here again!

Complete joke of a restaurant... there should be a zero star rating as 1 star is far too generous. Worst customer service i have ever come across.

Awful service for delivery. Ordered via their website which said half hour for delivery. First time was 2 hrs wait, second (and last time ever) is now am hour and half and still no food. Called to find out why and met with 'severe attitude ' from female staff member who said delivery was always an hour despite what website says. When informed we waited 2hrs last time and now a long delay again (website says still cooking after 90mins) she simply said 'it's going out now.....Do we believe her? Hell no. Don't waste your time with a delivery, and don't complain as it appears the customer is always wrong in their eyes.

Very rude staff and food took 2.5 hours to get to door only to then look like it was the left overs. Is not the first time but will be our last.

Even mentioned this politely in an email only to then get ignored. If there was a choice to give 0 stars, I would.

Just ordered a takeaway and so disappointed. In fact we stopped eating when we realised that the chicken wasn't cooked properly. Nothing tasted authentic and the mango chutney was watery. Won't be ordering from here again.
