It's a good place in the town offering some delightful recipes for customers. My family often visit this site but sometimes we order home delivery also. We always request an evening food delivery hoping to see Keith. He is so polite and helpful.
Great truffle flavors and incredible fresh Indian spices.
Must try it

Still one of the best Indian restaurants in town.
The photo is not a standard dish but a friend's creation of naan with rice in top and sauce on top again.

Visited Canterbury for a week and Kashmir Tandoori was a great find for my family who were looking for a reliably Halal establishment. We found it quite difficult to find a Halal place that we were comfortable with (other establishments couldn't guarantee Halal). But the gentleman was able to reassure us, and took great care of us. He was welcoming and friendly, and even ensured the food was adjusted to suit our spice needs. Although we opted for take-away, the interior was adorned with lovely authentic Asian decoration, which we loved and thought was a great little touch. Portions were filling, as assured by the staff. Will definitely be our top option when we come to visit again! Thank you!

We had come to Canterbury for the first time and the place is magical! Truly charming and lovely people. Sadly, the same cannot be said for our experience of the food we experienced in this restaurant. I think is a real shame! The prawn curry with spinach had prawns that looked like frozen ones and translucent I colour still and uncertainty cooked. Our mixed grill was ok but then lamb chop has had hardly any meat on it and was fatty and chewy. The special rice was bulked out with frozen veg and one of the side plates was dirty and used. The people behind us, one of them indian complained and said their dishes were packed full of sugar and very sweet. Too sweet and morning enjoyable. Sadly, i was really ill an hour and half later and still recovering. The kitchen. Didn’t look the most meticulous about cleanliness and whole place and experience took the shine off our trip. I would urge the owner to look at this and review all cooking practices, use fresh ingredients, not frozen and get better hygiene in place. It costs isn’t £50 and this wasn’t good value.

Great food myself and my wife totally enjoyed it, very polite and friendly staff paid by cash left nearly £13 in tip even though they added £4.00 service charge as it was a lovely meal and lovely service. Waiter came back with owner said think youve made a mistake by paying more cash then required we said no thats your tip as it was a perfect meal and service..

I've been to several Indian restaurants in the UK, But this is the first time where all the food i ordered was worse than expected in an Indian restaurant. We ordered a Very Hot Chicken Tandoori Mirch Masala and we received a red coloured curry without chicken and when we asked the waiter where the chicken was even he was shocked speechless and he took the dish to bring it back with chicken in the same dish.
The second order was a Tandoori Chicken and HALF THE CHICKENS PORTION WAS MISSING!! The pappad was burnt, The Peas Rice was soggy with frozen green peas. The food was bland and their famous "Very Hot Chicken Tandoori Mirch Masala" wasn't even the slightest bit spicy. It was just full of paprika powder.

The chutney was sweet and packed with sugar without any spice.
The butter naan was just braan (bread + naan) with a piece of butter in the middle of it which wasn't even spread out.

I might've been unlucky on this day as the award winning chef might have taken a day off but I realised only after leaving the restaurant that the award was given almost half a decade ago.
